| dc.description.abstract | This work was conducted through bibliographical research, focusing on feminicide and violence against women. The basic question for the development of the study was: Does the present study enable us to verify the importance of the new feminicide law for the protection of women? Another important factor is: will this law make it possible to reduce violence against women? The general objective of this study was to verify if this new law in force brought improvements to Brazil and if this violence against women decreased, while the specific objectives established were to verify violence against women, together with their history, as well as, were highlighted the types of violence suffered by women; punctuate the benefits of the Maria da Penha law in the protection of women; to analyze the crime of feminicide that is characterized by the death of a woman by the condition of its gender. The present study allowed the understanding that violence against women occurs from antiquity. In Brazil, the favorable character of the institute is evident, having its own legislation with Law 13.104 / 2015, which made possible the clear definition of feminicide in the legal order of the country. In this sense, the work allowed us to understand that there was a great advance in society in gender issues, a conquest accomplished through years of struggle, which provided greater protection to women so that they can be respected in their rights, in the pursuit of equality, freedom and dignity in a historically sexist society. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | Este trabalho foi conduzido por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica, com foco no tema feminicídio e a violência contra as mulheres. O questionamento base para o desenvolvimento do estudo foi: O presente estudo nos possibilita verificar qual a importância da nova lei de feminicídio para a proteção das mulheres? Cabe destacar outro fator importante que é: esta lei vai possibilitar a redução da violência contra a mulher? O objetivo geral deste trabalho foi verificar se esta nova lei em vigor trouxe melhorias para o Brasil e se com isso as violências contra as mulheres diminuíram, enquanto os objetivos específicos estabelecidos foram verificar a violência contra as mulheres, juntamente com seu histórico, bem como, foram destacados os tipos de violências sofridas pelas mulheres; pontuar os benefícios da lei Maria da Penha na proteção da mulher; analisar o crime de feminicídio que se caracteriza pela morte de uma mulher pela condição de seu gênero. O presente trabalho permitiu a compreensão de que a violência contra as mulheres ocorre desde a antiguidade. No Brasil é notório o caráter favorável ao instituto, possuindo legislação própria com a Lei nº 13.104/2015, a qual possibilitou a clara definição de feminicídio no ordenamento jurídico pátrio. Nesse sentido, o trabalho nos permitiu compreender que houve um grande avanço na sociedade nas questões de gênero, conquista efetuada através de anos de luta, o que proporcionou maior proteção às mulheres para que possam ser respeitadas em seus direitos, na busca de igualdade, liberdade e dignidade numa sociedade historicamente machista. | pt_BR |
