A Fibromialgia é a Síndrome reumatológica crônica e de etiologia ainda desconhecida, com dores musculoesqueléticas, geralmente associadas a outros sintomas, como distúrbios do sono, fadiga, parestesias, déficit de memória, cãimbra nos membros inferiores, cefaleia, alterações cognitivas, nervosismo, artralgias, distúrbios intestinais, ansiedade, depressão, síndrome das pernas inquietas, dor muscular, entre outros sintomas. Com uma alimentação irregular, associada a fatores, como estresse, tabagismo, ingestão de bebidas alcoólicas, ocorrem impactos negativos no tratamento da fibromialgia. OBJETIVO: Elucidar dietas que tenham impacto positivo na redução dos sintomas durante o tratamento da fibromialgia. MÉTODOS: norteada por revisão bibliográfica, realizada entre fevereiro e junho de 2023, nas principais bases de dados e bibliotecas virtuais, da SciELO e PubMed e Google Acadêmico, utilizando artigos publicados por grau de relevância. RESULTADOS: A Fibromialgia afeta um alto índice de pessoas no Brasil, aproximadamente são atingidos cerca de 2,5% da população mundial, com maior prevalência em mulheres. Se faz necessário adotar dietas com uma alimentação mais eficaz, auxiliando no tratamento da fibromialgia.
Fibromyalgia is a chronic and idiopathic rheumatic syndrome, with musculoskeletal pain, usually associated with other symptoms, such as sleep disorders, fatigue, paresthesias, memory deficit, cramps in the lower limbs, headache, cognitive alterations, nervousness, arthralgias, intestinal disorders, anxiety, depression, restless legs syndrome, muscle pain, among other symptoms. With an irregular diet, associated with factors such as stress, smoking, alcohol intake, there are negative impacts on the treatment of fibromyalgia. OBJECTIVE: Elucidate diets that have a positive impact on reducing symptoms during fibromyalgia treatment. METHODS: guided by a bibliographic review, carried out between February and June 2023, in the main databases and virtual libraries, from SciELO and PubMed and Google Academic, using articles published by degree of relevance. RESULTS: FM affects a high number of people in Brazil, approximately 2.5% of the world's population are affected, with a higher prevalence in women. It is necessary to adopt diets with a more effective diet, helping in the treatment of fibromyalgia.
