Monografia Acesso embargado Proposta de um sistema de indicadores de desempenho em painel de controle: um estudo em uma empresa de construção civil(2018) Ricardo, Higor SerafimThe current situation of the construction industry, pleads for proper planning and control within a culture which is, usually, non-existent. There is a need of management tools that provide information about the company and its projects, providing at the same time agility and quality in its processes and delivered products. However, the aim of this research is to propose a system of key performance indicators in dashboard to assist in the management of civil construction company, in a case study carried out in a medium-sized construction company in southern Santa Catarina. The research is classified in terms of the objectives, as descriptive, regarding to the procedures, as case study and concerning to the approach of the problem, qualitative. For the collection of data, observations, documentary collection and interviews are the instruments used for this research. The definition of the set of indicators was elaborated based on the literature review and on the characteristics, needs and data available in the company under study. The main results of this research are related to the: (a) definition of the set of indicators in the financial and economic, production, human resources and quality perspectives, aligned with the company strategies; (b) development of dashboards for the company's strategic and tactical level (financial, human resources and engineering department); (c) evaluation of the company’s performance and its projects through the results of the indicators, comparing periods; (d) evaluation of the company’s strengths and weaknesses and its projects, and suggestions for improvements to the vulnerabilities. It can be concluded that, given the sixteen indicators used, the company has just its selling speed, project cost overrun and employee turnover as its vulnerabilities. Therefore, it is suggested to the company: the creation of a sales department, a good structure and after-sales team, evaluate the process of budgeting, do initial budgets more precise, identify the main causes of a high turnover, with the use of employee exit interview surveys, the creation of a recruitment process, among others. From the results obtained, it is possible to notice that with a large amount of data already available by the company, it was possible to develop an accessible management tool with registered popular software, which generated information of great help for decision making, about the company’s health and how much its strategic objectives are being met.
