It also addresses the design and development of the battery charger circuit, and its theoretical, mathematical and simulation development. Such search has as main objective the development of a research material about lithium ion battery chargers.Monografia Acesso aberto Desenvolvimento de conversor aplicável em veículos elétricos de pequeno porte(2020) Kloppel, Felipe GasparettoToday's growing demand for efficient and inexpensive mobility, as opposed to strong trends in environmental preservation and sustainable development coupled with ever-increasing prices of fossil fuels, culminate in the search for affordable, efficient, and eco-friendly vehicle alternatives. In response to the longings of our reality, electric cars are spreading and becoming more and more part of our daily lives. Even more shyly, it is already noted in Brazil, reflections of this strong worldwide trend, due to facts such as the high price, lack of subsidies by the government that are due to the total absence of national manufacturing. This work aims to develop a DC-DC electronic converter, intended for application in a small electric vehicle, focusing on the construction of a prototype, capable of powering and controlling an electric motor. With the main objective of appropriating and internalizing this technology, thus enabling national manufacturing initiatives, aiming at a greater dissemination of the use of automobiles powered by electricity. However, despite all investment that has been made, it is estimated that 16% of world's population still doesn't have access to electrical energy. Although Brazil has a predominantly clean energy matrix, it still fails to use unconventional sources, such as solar, wind and biomass. The available wind resources can reach 143,5 GW, and currently only 9% of this potential is exploited. Wind turbines, equipment used for the electromechanical conversion of wind energy, can diversify their constructive form according to the application and local geography, to obtain the best efficiency. The present project will seeks to develop the necessary knowledge for the construction of a mini-generator of energy capable of generating energy to feed a load in an isolated way. To apply the concepts developed in this dissertation a prototype of a Savonius type wind turbine has been developed, using accessible and easy-to-handle materials. For the construction of the mini wind generator has been made use of the DIY (Do It Yourself) technique, which simplifies the construction and possible replication of this prototype.Monografia Acesso aberto Desenvolvimento de um robô seguidor de linha alimentado por fonte de energia alternativa(2019) Machado, Diego Pedrini; Moura, Eduardo Roberto VictorinoThis paper aims to present the design steps and the construction of a low cost line follower robot that can be used for delivery and distribution of materials within the Pedra Branca Unit. To perform its functions, the prototype uses a microcontroller, infrared sensors, motors, a renewable energy source and has communication via Wi-Fi. For having wireless communication, a human machine interface (HMI) was developed available on the web server. from the microcontroller to send commands and know their location within the building. The robot's power will be supplied by lithium-ion batteries that have been recycled from used notebooks. Battery charging power will be provided by a photovoltaic panel installed in one of the University's buildings. Despite the problems encountered during the work, such as the difficulty of adapting the sensors, the main objectives proposed at the beginning of the project were met. We can verify in practice that the topics covered by this TCC went far beyond the topics covered during the course, given all the problems encountered and the solutions implemented. These have as main feature the insulation of the land. These circuits are only grounded by land leakage relays, which does not cause them to be switched off, and human intervention is required to identify the location of the fault and the proper repair. In a little branched circuit, there are few circuit breakers that must be turned off to carry out the investigation. Yet, in large power plants, the number of circuits makes this task difficult and an high risk for the EPS. The risk is presented by disconnecting circuits essential for the control and protection of high voltage equipment, which may leave a part without proper protection or cause accidental activation of any protection or control device. The present work seeks to develop a proposed solution for the detection of the leakage of direct current to the ground in the substation of Biguaçu, this work can be used as a model for the other installations of the EPS. Throughout this process, prototypes were elaborated, tested in computational system, laboratory and in the substation, contemplating a whole process of development necessary for an end product. These tests proved that the proposed solution was adequate for the case, needing only some improvements to be used commercially.
