In the course of this study, the history of the Brazilian electricity sector is presented, as well as the institutional model of how the electricity sector is organized, the tariff regulation procedures, the asset evaluation methodology adopted by ANEEL and a case study of the evaluation of the assets of a Specific concession. In the current modeling of the Brazilian electric sector, the need for a better management of the assets, the correct allocation of the costs of the works and the monitoring of the asset after its entry into operation is noticed. These three stages directly influence the tariff review processes of the concessionaires, as well as the indemnification of assets for reversal purposes.Monografia Acesso aberto Sistemas fotovoltaicos conectados à rede: dimensionamento e análise da viabilidade técnica e financeira(2017) Cardoso, Mauro; Liberato, Thaigor VescoviPhotovoltaic solar energy is one of the renewable sources whose use has been growing in the Brazilian energy scenario due to the approval of Normative Resolution 482, of April 17, 2012, which establishes the general conditions for microgeneration and minigeration access to electric energy distribution systems (distributed generation) and the net metering system. With this new perspective, several consumer units are joining the installation of photovoltaic systems for the generation of own electric energy. In this sense, with the objective of analyzing the installation steps, sizing criteria and the time of return of this type of investment (payback), for this work all the necessary steps were performed for the design and installation of the system for a residential consumer unit of Imbituba, Santa Catarina, Brazil. The aspects considered for the sizing and installation were the available area, the solar position and slope of the roof. The calculated system power is 1.62 kWp which occupies an area of 9.72 m². For the analysis of the financial return were considered the evolution of the tariff over time, the taxation on the energy generated and the value of the acquisition of the system. The calculated payback is approximately 8 years and the generation values measured in the first two months of system operation were very close to the calculated values. Therefore, the calculation methodology used in this work was quite assertive according to the results obtained.Monografia Acesso fechado Inversor de frequência controlado por arduino para motor monofásico de uma centrífuga extratora de mel: projeto e desenvolvimento(2017) Freitas, Geison Bandeira de; Fraga, GuilhermeThe purpose of this work is to design and develop a variable-frequency drive to control the rotation speed of a honey extractor centrifuge using the Arduino® prototyping platform, which stands out for the ease of programming, a wide range of functionality and low cost of ownership. One of the great consumers of natural resources throughout its production chain is the construction industry. In this context came the environmental certifications of buildings, which seek to qualify how sustainable the building is. The certifications have distinct characteristics and evaluation criteria, however, energy efficiency is considered in all the certifications the most used in the country. In Brazil, pursuant to Law No. 9,991, of July 24, 2000, concessionaires or permission holders of distribution of Electric Energy, including Celesc, shall apply a minimum percentage of 0.5% of Net Operating Revenue in Energy Efficiency Programs. Thus, in order to verify the energy efficiency qualification of a building that was chosen to participate in the Celesc Energy Efficiency Program, a case study was chosen in which it was applied in the architectural and energy efficiency projects of block H of Unisul - Pedra Branca University Unit, the evaluation criteria of the lighting system of Procel-Edifica environmental certification. After analysis, it was concluded that it would not be possible to achieve the best classification level, however, considering that the efficiency achieved was not implemented considering the criteria for obtaining the National Energy Conservation Label, the results were positive.Monografia Acesso embargado Desenvolvimento de um mini gerador eólico de baixo custo utilizando a técnica do it yourself(2018) Trierveiler, Matheus; Gomes, Amanda Mendes FerreiraRenewable energy sources have been target of huge investiments in recent years, driven by the concern for environment plus the need for new sources of energy to diversify the energy matrix and universalize energy. However, despite all investment that has been made, it is estimated that 16% of world's population still doesn't have access to electrical energy. Although Brazil has a predominantly clean energy matrix, it still fails to use unconventional sources, such as solar, wind and biomass. The available wind resources can reach 143,5 GW, and currently only 9% of this potential is exploited. Wind turbines, equipment used for the electromechanical conversion of wind energy, can diversify their constructive form according to the application and local geography, to obtain the best efficiency. The present project will seeks to develop the necessary knowledge for the construction of a mini-generator of energy capable of generating energy to feed a load in an isolated way. To apply the concepts developed in this dissertation a prototype of a Savonius type wind turbine has been developed, using accessible and easy-to-handle materials. For the construction of the mini wind generator has been made use of the DIY (Do It Yourself) technique, which simplifies the construction and possible replication of this prototype.Monografia Acesso aberto Estudo de projeto de sistemas fotovoltaico voltado a mini e micro geração: para residência conectada a rede(2018) Elisardo, Alax; Wippel, Bruno EduardoSolar photovoltaic generation in brazilian energy matrix follow the rules of the Normative Resolution ANEEL REN 482/2012, altered by REN 687/2015, that consolidate microgeneration and mini generation. Being solar photovoltaic systems that generate energy that come of solar radiation, with small and medium power. According to the small photovoltaic generation regulation in Brazil, the present undergraduate thesis presents a project elaborated to a residence in Florianópolis, connected to the low-voltage network, describing the calculation steps of the necessary demand: local irradiation, sizing, specification, cost budget and payback. The sizing is based on the premise that all energy consumed by the consumer unit should be obtained through the photovoltaic system implemented, and any surplus of electrical energy generated by the system will be injected on the local dealer network with variable-frequency drive.Monografia Acesso aberto Implementação de filtro seletivo de rádio frequência com cavidade ressonante: implementação de filtro ajustável seletor de sinal nas subfaixas de operadoras de telefonia celular 3G no Brasil(2018) Grams, Diego; Dutra, NikolasCurrently in Brazil, 3G (WCDMA) bands are allocated primarily in the 2100 MHz band, defined by Anatel. This band is further subdivided into uplink and downlink bands, that is, the data transmission band is separated from the data reception range in an imperceptible way for the end user. However, the operator is not always able to deliver a signal of quality and with desirable power for the user, so not always have a device that includes WCDMA technology is synonymous with quality in sending and receiving data. Either by the distance from the base station or the obstacles to the signal reaching the final destination, these problems can be solved with the use of cellular repeaters. The following proposal presents a way to filter the signal from a single operator in the spectrum and reinsert it in the repeater system using a resonant cavity filter and thus the operator signal can be processed or retransmitted without interference to the users and stations that received the signal with low levels of qualityMonografia Acesso aberto Proteção contra raios e surtos em sistemas fotovoltaicos(2018) Gomes, Allyson José de SousaCurrently, due to the increase in renewable energy sources, photovoltaic solar energy has played an important role in this growth. However, it is inherent in systems that they are installed in an exposed manner, so as to allow the direct incidence of sunlight. Due to this exposure, the systems become quite vulnerable to the effects of atmospheric discharges. The damage caused by atmospheric discharges to the systems results in a reduction in the useful life or even the destruction of components such as modules, inverters and monitoring systems, situations that will certainly have an impact on maintenance costs and consequently increase the amortization time of the investment . This paper presents the current technical specifications, as well as the norms and regulations that approach this theme. It specifies the main requirements and methods adopted for the design of surge protection devices and lightning protection systems in photovoltaic arrays. With regard to one of the methodologies, the present work develops three case studies already implemented in the cities of Florianópolis and Palhoça. Data were collected through technical visits, and the approach used in data analysis was qualitative.Monografia Acesso aberto Habilidades e competências na formação do engenheiro eletricista: percepção de egressos e estudantes concluintes(2018) Silva, Rodrigo Isidoro daThe engineer’s training, with skills and competences required by the current National Curriculum Guidelines (DCNs), is embedded in a challenging scenario. This is because, the technological and organizational changes of the engineering courses are constant. The objective of this paper was to diagnose what skills and competences are being developed during the engineering course in the perception of graduates and students. Also, compare them with those determined by the DCNs. The research instrument used was the Likert questionnaire, plus a set of 4 assertions about the teaching process. It is verified that in the understanding of the graduates and the students the skills and competences plan, supervise, design and coordinate engineering projects and services; supervise the operation and maintenance of systems; critically evaluate the operation and maintenance of systems described in the DCNs need to be improved. Another highlight perceived by the sample is that the other skills and competences are being developed during the course. This study is not conclusive, but presents a great potential to implement actions in the curriculum of the graduation course as well as to upgrade processes for the formation of the engineer of the 21st century.Monografia Acesso embargado Redes de distribuição subterrâneas de energia elétrica: comparativo entre os requisitos das concessionárias Celesc D, CPFL energia e CEMIG D utilizando modelos BIM(2018) Gomes, Willian Moreira; Inacio, Eduardo ClasenCurrently, the deployment of new lines of underground distribution is motivated by projects of revitalization of urban centers and historical, besides of allotment enterprises. This is since these lines have greater reliability in power supply electric and provide a differential in the region. The fact that there are several concessionaires operating in the Brazilian territory, and with different norms, makes the same project of underground distribution line of electric energy, in allotment, present unique features, depending on the region where the work will be carried out. Thus, we perceive the importance of this work, in which the objective was to develop a study by the standards of the concessionaires CELESC S/A, CPFL ENERGIA and CEMIG D in the elaboration of projects of underground distribution lines of energy in allotments. It was also carried out the survey of materials, equipment and labor used for the execution, thus making it possible to compare the cost of the same project according to the standards of different concessionaires. To increase the detailing, get more information, provide better understanding and reduction of errors when designing and executing, was used the concept of BIM (Building Information Modelling) in the modeling of the elements of this project, following its actual characteristics. Finally, the analysis was transcribed into a practical situation by simulating a fictional residential allotment, where an underground distribution line of energy and public lighting was implemented, according to the concessionaires.Monografia Acesso aberto UPS: sistema ininterrupto de energia ( Nobreak )(2018) Ferreira, Ivan José; Barreto, André Luis Madeira NevesWith the ever-increasing need for a power supply free of faults and other disturbances in the most varied areas, the use of nobreaks has been gaining ground. this work was done with the objective of becoming a tutorial of the use of uninterrupted power sources aiming at improving the efficiency and reliability of the system. a study was carried out showing: the applications of nobreaks in several areas, the main factors determining the quality of the equipment, a sequence of instructions for the tests carried out in factories according to IEC 62040-3 (1999) and instructions for the correct dimensioning of the Nobreak and battery bank, plus a collection of information on how to improve battery life with an emphasis on lead-acid batteries. The methodology used was a sequence of studies and research related to: areas of action seeking knowledge, how and where uninterruptible power supplies are used and for which purpose, what are the instructions of the standards for testing and designing UPS, what procedures to improve the life of the batteries, among others. As a result of our research we conclude that the most relevant characteristics for the best efficiency and reliability of a UPS are obtained by tests in the two parts that compose the system, the nobreak and the bank of batteries, each test is demonstrated in the specification chapter together with a brief explanation as to why these characteristics are relevant. As a tutorial instruction, it was also demonstrated how the Nobreak and battery bank dimensions are made in Chapters 4 and 5, reinforcing the aspects of efficiency and reliability for the correct use of the equipment involved.Estudo de Caso Acesso fechado Comissionamento de sistemas fotovoltaicos conectados à rede: avaliação da usina fotovoltaica da empresa Clemar Engenharia LTDA(2018) Assunção, Guilherme Ozol; Bittencourt, Leandro MafraThis work presents the study and the commissioning of the Photovoltaic Solar Power Plant of Clemar Engenharia LTDA, located in Palhoça / SC. The objective is to ensure that the plant operates under satisfactory conditions, connected to the local power supply concessionaire, CELESC, in accordance with regulatory standards and meeting a worldwide trend of interconnection of its own generating sources, distributed generation. Through applied research on the current restrictions of the convencional energy supply for a consumer unit - using quantitative and qualitative methods – it is proposed a photovoltaic system that intends to supply the customer and offer the energy surplus to the public network. It should be noted that the project is based on an on/off-grid photovoltaic system (that can be switched from grid connected to disconnected from the grid), since part of the energy is stored in battery banks to supply a control and safety system in case of lack of energy from the local concessionaire. Firstly, it compares types of systems, panels available on the market, types of batteries, load controllers, inverters, and UPS. Secondly, it presents the equipments selected and the dimensioning of system’s components. Finally, it contextualizes the power compensation system with energy credits according to the current norms and it concludes about the advantages and obstacles of the photovoltaic power generation and the photovoltaic system applied to the object study.Estudo de Caso Acesso embargado Eficientização energética na iluminação pública(2019) Vieira, Luan; Kühl, Roberto CarlosIn Brazil, street lighting represents more than 3% of the country's total electricity consumption. In this scenario is seen several governmental actions for the modernization of public lighting parks across the country, with the object of replacing the obsolete technology used in most parks, with more efficient technologies, thus reducing the electricity consumption of this sector. An example is the energy efficiency program (PEE), where electric utilities are required by law to apply a minimum percentage of 0.5% of net operating revenue to this program per year. There is also the PROCEL RELUZ program which have been significant results achieved in the street lighting sector. With the advancement of technologies applied to street lighting systems, we have seen a range of possibilities that can result in greater energy efficiency in these systems as they focus on replacing old fixtures for those with LED technology. In this work, we will carry out the economic feasibility study for the dimming of LED fixtures used in PEE programs, at times of low movement flow in the streets, since in theory, at these times the public lighting systems do not need to be at 100% of its capacity to ensure road safety. Keywords: Street lighting. Energy efficiency. Lamps. Dimerization.Monografia Acesso aberto Controle de temperatura no processo de produção de cerveja(2019) Anesi, Juliano; Tybinkovski, Paulo Henrique ManenteTemperature control in the production of craft beer is a point that defines the product profile, requiring precise temperature control in the brewing stage, a process in which starch turns into sugars through the action of enzymes and They dissolve in the water forming the brewing wort. Currently, the widely used temperature control method is the on-off flame of the gas cooker due to its availability and ease of implementation. This work seeks to implement a PID temperature control using electric resistance heating. This implementation consists of developing a control system using Arduino that performs a PID control using a solid-state relay. The plant where this system will be implemented is made up of an 18 liters stainless steel pan with a false bottom to separate the grains from the must, a low-density resistance of 1600W and a hydraulic pump. The resistance distributes the dissipated power at the bottom of the pan avoiding the caramelization of the wort, while the pump will circulate the wort aiming the homogeneity of its heating. A control system with Arduino, sensor and solid-state relay was developed and tested in the plant, through the PID control it was possible to reach the desired degree of precisionMonografia Acesso aberto Desenvolvimento de um robô seguidor de linha alimentado por fonte de energia alternativa(2019) Machado, Diego Pedrini; Moura, Eduardo Roberto VictorinoThis paper aims to present the design steps and the construction of a low cost line follower robot that can be used for delivery and distribution of materials within the Pedra Branca Unit. To perform its functions, the prototype uses a microcontroller, infrared sensors, motors, a renewable energy source and has communication via Wi-Fi. For having wireless communication, a human machine interface (HMI) was developed available on the web server. from the microcontroller to send commands and know their location within the building. The robot's power will be supplied by lithium-ion batteries that have been recycled from used notebooks. Battery charging power will be provided by a photovoltaic panel installed in one of the University's buildings. Despite the problems encountered during the work, such as the difficulty of adapting the sensors, the main objectives proposed at the beginning of the project were met. We can verify in practice that the topics covered by this TCC went far beyond the topics covered during the course, given all the problems encountered and the solutions implemented.Monografia Acesso aberto Automação residencial de baixo custo(2019) Borba, Vitor Farias de; Boeng, Leonardo Vinicius CorreaDespite not being a new theme, home automation still faces barriers. Nowadays the solutions can be split into two groups. The first one is composed of systems with high complexity, cost and reliability, the second group consists of low-cost, easy to install, unreliable and nonintegrated systems. This project describes the development and installation of a home automation system for a 3-bedroom apartment, with the goal of a low-cost reliable solution. In this solution where included the control of lights, TVs, Air Conditioner and the power measurement of selected devices. To control all devices, a central unit equipped with OpenHab software is used, which is responsible for the integration, commands and supplying a unique visual interface to the system. To analyze the obtained results multiple tests where proposed, in which safety, availability and latency of the developed system where evaluated and considered satisfactory. The cost goal of R$ 3.000,00 for equipment acquisition was also achieved.Estudo de Caso Acesso embargado Sistema de proteção contra descargas atmosféricas para uma edificação residencial multifamiliar: estudo de caso(2019) Coelho, DouglasThe present work seeks to present the new concepts, methods, analyzes and best practices regarding the protection system against atmospheric discharges (LPS), through a case study for a multifamily building located in the municipality of São Jose. After the study of the case, it is expected to design the sub-systems of capture, descent and grounding of said building, seeking to minimize the risks from atmospheric discharges both the physical structure of the building and future users. Finally, an analysis will be approached regarding electromagnetic compatibility and equipotentialisation of the structure, minimizing the data caused by atmospheric discharges to electro-electronic equipment and users at tolerable risks, according to the precepts of NBR 5419: 2015.Monografia Acesso embargado PMI - procedimentos de manifestação de interesse para gestão de sistema de iluminação pública(2019) Rosa, Jean Anderson; Martins, Eduardo MullerThe lighting of the streets, parks, monuments, which we come across during the night in practically all the municipalities of Brazil, has undergone changes in recent years in relation to its responsibilities and competencies. From the constitutional point of view, the provision of public services of local interest, in which public lighting is inserted, is the competence of the municipalities. Based on articles 30 and 149-A of the Federal Constitution (Brazil, 1988), it is the responsibility of the municipality to organize and provide, directly or under concession or permission, public services, including public lighting. As provided by law, the public lighting services would be regularized to charge for due end of maintenance, implementation and improvements in its lighting park, however, despite being included in the Constitution, this was not a reality In Brazil, only through normative resolution No. 414/2010 of the National Electric Energy Agency (ANEEL), fixed a deadline for transferring the public lighting system from distributors to public authorities, where 31 December 2014 was the date End. The use of this obligation was given by many municipalities to be contrary to the law of 1988, and alleged that they were not prepared to assume this responsibility required by law, where the municipality would be obliged to carry out the projects, deployments, Expansion, installations, maintenance and energy consumption of the public lighting park. An alternative found by the municipalities in order to comply with their obligations demanded by law, was the search for public-private partnerships (PPPs), so municipalities need to meet some requirements cited by Law No. 11,079, as the minimum period of 5 Years and the minimum contract value of 10 million reais. PPP is a form of granting that can be sponsored. In this scenario, the private partner is remunerated by the user with the participation of the public administration to ensure the tariff or administrative attendance, and the company hires may receive 100% of its remuneration from the municipality. The collection is given through the contribution to the costing of the public lighting Service (COSIP) (paid by means of the citizens by the energy bill. To start a PPPs, it is necessary to carry out a detailed study of the municipality, known as the procedures of manifestation of interest (PMIs)
