Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Benefícios do exercício físico na memória de idosos: revisão literária(2020) Cardoso, Ana Clara JacinthoThroughout history, physical exercise has always been related to improving the quality of physical life, however, it is also a great ally of mental health. It was carried out with 16 elderly people from the physical activity groups, from NASF - AB, from the Municipality of Tubarão - SC, whose main objective is to identify the motivational factors that encourage the elderly to practice physical exercise in a specific program of physical activity groups. , as well as to verify the motivation indexes of the practitioners of physical exercises.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Fatores motivacionais que levam adultos e pessoas de meia idade a praticarem musculação como atividade física regular e permanecerem assíduos(2020) Ceron, Thâmila MottaAging comes with numerous factors and with it the need for physical activity. In order to start an activity, the main factor is motivation, it tells us that, “whatever the task to be performed, motivation is the fundamental element in the finalizing process or in the failure of the total reach of the objective itself” Donizete (2001) . Therefore, this is a cross-sectional study with descriptive research and a quantitative approach. The objective was to identify the reasons that influence adults and middle-aged subjects to practice weight training as a regular physical activity program. The research instrument was an online questionnaire prepared by the researcher and composed of objective questions about motivation and adherence to the program. The population of this study was composed of individuals of both sexes, aged between 21 and 60 years, enrolled and regularly participating in weight training, at the Flexion gym, in the city of Laguna, SC. The main results found were that the reasons that led the adults surveyed to practice weight training were: increase in muscle mass, aesthetics, staying in shape; social integration, releasing energy, reducing stress and anxiety and feeling good.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Funcionalidade em Idosos com Artrose no joelho(2018) Alano, William MartinsOsteoarthritis or osteoarthrosis (OA) can be defined as a chronic disease in which the individual has joint pain, tenderness, and movement limitation (BARTELS et al, 2016). Arthrosis is currently recognized as a disease that affects all tissues of the joint (NEOGI, 2012). Older people in about seventy years in 85% of the lower classes present some degree of OA. (TAYLOR, 2015). The objective of this study was to evaluate the functionality in elderly with OA, practitioners of physical exercise and non-practitioners. This was a cross-sectional descriptive study using a quantitative approach, the WOMAC three-dimensional quality of life questionnaire was applied in two groups of elderly individuals over 60 years old, one active (n = 8) and one non-active (n = 9) all with diagnosis of knee osteoarthritis. The obtained data were tabulated in Microsoft Excell and later a comparative inferential statistical analysis made through the non-parametric Mann-Whitney U test for independent samples. The significant values found are those less than or equal to 0.05. The only item evaluated with significance value was "pain intensity", however, all other aspects indicated improvement of the active group in its functionality. The results of the study suggest that physical exercise significantly reduces the pain of individuals with osteoarthritis, and although there is no statistical evidence, the other factors evaluated demonstrate benefits in the functional capacity of the active elderly when compared to the sedentary ones. No presente estudo, concluiu-se que, a maioria dos idosos praticantes de exercícios físicos apresentou uma classificação de Cinesiofobia baixa Este projeto de pesquisa é parte integrante do trabalho de conclusão de curso para obtenção do título de graduação em Educação Física bacharelado pela Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina – UNISUL.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Prevalência de joelho valgo durante o single leg drop landing test em jogadores de futebol amador: implicações na performance e lesões(2020) Leandro, Bruno AndradeAmateur soccer players usually have a very high game routine per weekend, with specific physical preparation for soccer being very important with exercises that seek to improve performance and also reduce the chances of injury in this audience, and an injury will consequently, these players are removed from competitions, consequently leading to the financial loss of the player and also of the club, which cannot count on the player for competitions. Dynamic knee valgus is a term used to describe a knee positioning in the frontal plane that will compromise the correct dynamic alignment of this joint during the performance of functional activities, and this position has a strong correlation with injuries in the lower extremity. The objective of the study was to identify the prevalence of dynamic knee valgus, measuring the angle of frontal projection of the knee in amateur soccer players, through the single leg drop landing test and presenting the implications that may affect performance and lead to a greater risk. of injuries. The studied population was composed of amateur soccer players from the city of Laguna, who participated in the municipal soccer championship, held in 2019. This is a descriptive research, carried out through a test characterized by obtaining quantitative data from the test single leg drop landing, with data being collected to establish a prevalence of dynamic knee valgus in the group of athletes evaluated. After analyzing the data of this research, it was possible to identify that of the 30 participating players, 46.7% (14) had dynamic knee valgus, while 53.3% (16) did not have it, and of the 14 positive, 42, 8% (6) presented only in one of the evaluated limbs, with no significant difference between the frontal knee projection angle of the dominant and non-dominant lower limbs of those who performed the dynamic knee valgus. It can be concluded that the dynamic valgus is a complex movement, often used as a movement strategy to complete a certain task, being task-dependent, and cannot be analyzed in a reductionist way, but with a more holistic view.
