Trabalho intermitente e seus reflexos na relação de emprego

The present course conclusion paper has as its object the intermittent employment contract, included in Brazilian legislation through Law No. 13,467/17, with the objective of verifying its main repercussions in the legal system and employment relations. For this, the research technique adopted was documentary and bibliographic, having as research sources books, publications of magazines and websites, articles, and legislation. The analysis of the social context in which labor law, employment relations, and the intermittent employment contract were performed, and for comparison purposes, the study of experiences experienced in other countries about the intermittent modality was carried out. Under the deductive method, it is concluded that the use of the intermittent employment contract beforehand leaves the worker in a situation of complete insecurity, equating with the unemployment situation, and may earn monthly the minimum, or even, receive nothing. Moreover, the intermittent employment contract is contrary to several fundamental guarantees of the worker, and its (in)constitutionality should be questioned regarding the perception of work duration, 13th salary, vacation, and minimum wage.
