Monografia Acesso aberto O uso da imagem como estratégia de ensino para a representação de fenômenos biológicos na visão dos professores de Ciências na rede estadual de Tubarão, SC(2019) Becker, Lidiane GilThis work analyzes the use of images as a pedagogical strategy by teachers of the Elementary School of Sciences in State Schools of the city of Tubarão, Santa Catarina. This research aimed to evaluate the use of images as a teaching strategy in the representation of biological phenomena from the perspective of teachers. Regarding the methodology, it is a field research of the descriptive type, with a qualitative approach. As a data collection instrument, a questionnaire was drawn up, containing 12 questions, 9 closed questions and 3 open questions, which deal with the frequency of use of these resources and which are used, as well as their importance and influence on the teaching view through the use images in relation to student learning. Sixteen schools of the Tubarão State Network participated and submitted the questionnaire to 16 science teachers. After the data collection, the data were tabulated in the Microsoft Excel Software that enabled the obtaining of tables and graphs parameterized study. The use of images should be understood as a strategy as complete as all other more traditional rather than just seen as something complementary. The results of this work proved to be positive, and that images can and should be used as a pedagogical strategy to facilitate learning, since the use of images and their frequency were considered as an important tool in the discipline of Science.
