Relatório de Estágio Acesso aberto Detergente enzimático: desenvolvimento de uma formulação mais sustentável para um detergente lava roupas(2019) Souza, Karyna Fernandes deCurrently the consumer concern about environmental care is growing and alongside with this factor, the search for products that are produced with biodegradable ingredients also grows. This information is shown in the survey conducted at the beginning of this paper, where more than 50% of respondents show interest in products that are more sustainable at the time of purchase. The present work brought as a proposal the development of a new formula of laundry detergent including enzymes, biodegradable substances, following market trends. The formulations were developed in the laboratory of a cleaning products company located in Capivari de Baixo, with raw materials already present in the company and others that have been requested from new suppliers. After conducting various manipulations were selected or discarded each of the ingredients arriving formulation that is proposed in this study, chosen from the results of the characterization tests such as pH, viscosity, density and stability of the formula. After the choice of the formulation, tests were maked to verify the efficiency of the enzymes contained in the detergent with a new developed formulation. The obtained values of the proposed formulation were compared to the formula of a laundry conventional detergent with no enzymes from the company and to the formulas of enzymatic laundry detergents from a company considered one of the leaders of the cleaning products market and of a direct concurrent. The results showed consistency in most data, with the proposed formula behind only the market-leading concurrent in terms of enzyme efficiency in the formulation of tissues stain removal, but with better and positive results than the conventional detergent from the company and also the direct concurrent. Finally, through a financial survey, the developed formulation resulted in an appropriate financial cost, taking a great position against competitors and with efficiency of the product proven by the performed tests.Relatório de Estágio Acesso fechado Extração e caracterização de Tall Oil(2018) Piola, Luandro VargasThe pulp and paper industry has many kinds of wastewater and most of the times they’re almost fully reused or generate energy. Thus, the treatment of the oil and fatty acids present on the kraft process’ wood has been required, since they’re toxic effluents and also impair the recycling of raw materials of the cellulose processing in general. The refining of these oils is extremely important because it can generate an added value depending on its quality. The purpose of the present dissertation was to compare the extraction methods of the oil and its quality, also characterizing its wastewater after the refining. The tall oil soap was acquired in the city of Fraiburgo, Santa Catarina and taken to Unisul campus at Tubarão, Santa Catarina. Two extraction methods were used and for determining the quality of the vegetable oils, analysis as flash point, viscosity, infrared spectroscopy, gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and analysis as fats and oils, sulphides, COD, BOD and pH to characterize the effluent were made. A result of 54.26% of the oil was achieved after the acid refining and the infrared spectrum showed the absorption in 1715 cm-1 region, characterizing the presence of carboxylic acids. The gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS) showed an oil rich in fatty acids. The wastewater produced was determined as unfeasible to direct discharge because it presents a high concentration of organic matter (COD and BOD), fats and oils 38.44mg.L-1 and soluble sulphides 14.12 mg.L-1. Key words: Tall oil. Characterization. Wastewate.Relatório de Estágio Acesso aberto Monitoramento da estação de tratamento de água do município de Imbituba-SC(2017) Vergínia, Fernanda DevaliereWater is the most abundant substance in the world, although it is finding in different features, places and quantities. The human health is related to the quality of the water, which must be suitable for consumption and organic/inorganic matter- and pathogens-free. However, it is know that most part of available fresh water is not in compliance. In relation to the necessity of safe water to the human survival, the company responsible for distribution of treated water in the municipality of Imbituba, located in southern of Santa Catarina, aims monitoring the physical, chemical and biological parameters in the water treatment system, from its harvesting to its distribution. Evaluating, therefore, the efficacy of the standard treatment plant in each step, such as: flocculation, decantation, screening and disinfection, comparing the resulting values to the values described in the current legislation. The findings demonstrate that the analyses performed during the study are within in the water quality standard established in ordinance Nº 2,914.
