Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the therapeutic uses of PRP, through a literature review, of a qualitative nature, evaluating the results of scientific articles. Method: We evaluated 38 scientific articles that dealt with the use of platelet - rich plasma in several areas of medicine. Data analysis: The data analysis was developed in a descriptive way according to the relevant information found in the scientific papers selected for the study. Several studies have shown that platelet-derived growth factors are the major responsible for the acceleration of tissue regeneration, since they increase the induction of the synthesis of collagen and other components of the extracellular matrix through the activation of fibroblasts. PRP is an autologous preparation, that is, performed with the patient's own blood, so the chance of adverse effects is minimal. This treatment has been used as a way to accelerate the processes of wound healing, tissue regeneration and skin rejuvenation. Conclusion: Plaque Rich Plasma is a product with the ability to stimulate skin regeneration, wound healing, repair and bone formation, also showing its high potential in aesthetic treatments for skin rejuvenation.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado A performance dos fatores de crescimento no rejuvenescimento facial(2018) Pacheco, Mariana dos SantosThe cutaneous tissue simultaneously undergoes two aging processes, the intrinsic aging that occurs gradually through genetic and chronological factors, and the extrinsic aging that is triggered by external factors to which the cutaneous tissue is exposed. To demonstrate the scientific literature on complementary therapies in the gestational period, highlighting the benefits for health care and nursing. As a treatment for this pathology, we have radiofrequency which is an electromagnetic wave, not ablative. It has as physiological effects vasodilation, promotes the increase of nutrients and tissue oxygen. The LED is a phototherapeutic feature, presents as physiological effects stimulus of neocolagenesis, anti-inflammatory, cicatrizante, activator of cellular metabolism, free radical fighting, bactericidal effect. The present article was characterized by a descriptive study, with a qualitative approach and as a procedure the bibliographic review was used. Aiming to know the scientific evidences of the effectiveness of radiofrequency and LED equipments for suborbital hyperpigmentation. The following databases were used to collect the articles used in the bibliographic review: PUBMED, MEDLINE, SciELO, GOOGLE ACADEMMICO and VHL, from 2004 to May 2018. For the selection of articles, the following keywords were used: "LED "," Radiofrequency "and" suborbital hyperpigmentation ", all of them combined and individualized in the Portuguese language. We analyzed 3 books that corroborate the reasons for this article. For the current study, of the 22 scientific studies, 14 articles were included. As a result we find that both LED and radiofrequency are effective for treatment, being used individually or in combination. It is concluded with this study that both treatments prove effective through their physiological effects to combat this aesthetic pathology, highlighting the need for more clinical trials to buy the beneficial results of both treatments due to the lack of bibliographical references.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Benefícios da argila em procedimentos estéticos(2018) Guisoni, Taise Della GiustinaThe study aims to analyze the benefits of clay in aesthetic procedures.
