Estudo de Caso Acesso aberto Analise técnica e econômica da aplicação de micro usinas hidrelétricas em redes de abastecimento de água(2020) De Lima, Flávio Maia; Da Silveira, Carlos EduardoIn the last years, new sources of alternative energy have been added to the Brazilian energy matrix. The applicability of HCG's in water supply systems demonstrates a neglected hydraulic potential for electrical generation, which with automation can become self-sufficient and usable for a long time. Because the water supply system is already installed, the cost of civil works is lower and reused, the replacement of certain components can make this use for electricity generation. The use of PRV's to reduce excess pressure in the network brings a great opportunity for exploration, because in this research, a case study is carried out with the possibility of exchanging PRV's for hydraulic turbines coupled to an electric generator. Being an implementation with low environmental impact and without affecting the existing supply network. This research presents the technical and economic feasibility analysis of the hydroelectric potential with the implementation of a anfibic turbogenerator (ATG) acting as a function of a PRV (located in the Pedra Branca neighborhood of the city of Palhoça, in the state of Santa Catarina - Brazil), in order to reduce the pressure in the water distribution system and generate energy.
