Relatório de Estágio Acesso aberto O BSC como ferramenta de controle para pequenas empresas: pesquisa aplicada numa empresa de informática(2017) Grah, Clara CeciThe computer company, X, has been in the market for more than 15 years, always emphasizing the quality and reliability of the products and services offered. However, even today, this small organization doesn’t have a formal control of the activities it plans and implements. The qualitative research, involving bibliographical review and the development of an applied research, intends to identify the viability of the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as a control tool in the company. BSC – created by Kaplan and Norton – it proposes the development of a series of measures of outcome and trend, in order to balance the implementation of the organizational strategy in four perspectives (financial, customer, internal process and learning & growth). All this summarized in a simple and easy-to-read representation: The strategic map. This map, after the development of the work, seems to be the key to the BSC’s contribution to the control of the X company. Its visual character of quick reading and high power of synthesis, together with its unfolding in indicators, targets, and initiatives, is ideal for the monitoring and implementation of activities.
