Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Alteração do PH de diferentes adesivos odontológicos 30 e 60 dias depois de polimerizados(2018) Vermudt, AlefModern restorative dentistry basically based on the use of an adhesive system and subsequently a composite resin. The importance of knowledge of the properties and compositions of these systems and its clinical application, is of one of the most important characteristic for clinical longevity of composite resin restorations. The simplification of these systems made them very acidic, which raises the hypothesis of restorative failure in the long term. The objective of this research was to evaluate the pH of different types of dental adhesives in different periods of time. Three 3M ESPE dental adhesives were tested with different presentations and the pH level was evaluated immediately, 30 and 60 days after their polymerization. The lowest changes in pH levels were recorded in the groups of the Adper Scotchbond Multi-Purpose control adhesive system. Statistically significant differences were detected between the following dental adhesives: Adper Single Bond 2 and Universal Single Bond (3M - ESPE) (p <0,05). Following the results, it can be concluded that the self-etch group of 1 step and 2 steps pre-etched had statistically significant alterations (p<0,05) in the value of pH 30 and 60 days after their polymerization.
