Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Benefícios da argila em procedimentos estéticos(2018) Guisoni, Taise Della GiustinaThe study aims to analyze the benefits of clay in aesthetic procedures. Therefore, it is essential to study Geotherapy with emphasis on the functions and benefits that each type of clay provides when applied in aesthetic treatments. Clay has been used since ancient times for skin cleansing and as masks to preserve and highlight skin on the face, its use is comprehensive and its results are positive if it is often used correctly in accordance with the need and purpose of the treatment. The article was developed based on a bibliographic exploratory research, characterized as a systematic review with search of scientific databases Lilacs and Scielo, from 2010 to the year of 2017. According to the research, clay can be used as a complement in aesthetic procedures, since it boosts benefits for both facial and body aesthetics, and each type of clay acts in a certain way, as developed in the present study.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Massagem relaxante com argila verde para o alívio da dor na região dorsal(2018) Siberino, CamilaThe present work consists of a research project which developed a descriptive study of a qualitative approach, in the form of a field study. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects of relaxing massage with green clay for the relief of pain in the dorsal region in male and female individuals, aged between 20 and 40 years, attended at the Movimente Studio by Cíntia Silva located in Braço do Norte. As inclusion criteria were established: ages between 20 and 40 years, who presented pain or discomfort in the dorsal region. The data were collected from the approval of the CEP, from April 10, 2018 to May 30, 14 2018. In the first step an exploratory research was carried out to identify the participants, where the form for their selection was used. After identifying the study participants, they were evaluated through a questionnaire with semi-structured questions. There were 4 relaxing massage sessions with green clay. Data analysis was performed in a qualitative way. As a result the massage promoted strong pain relief in volunteers. According to the data obtained in the research, it is concluded that the technique proved to be effective.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto O uso da argila nos tratamentos estéticos faciais: uma revisão integrativa(2018) Heidemann, Morgana SchmollerThis study aims to discuss the use of clay in facial aesthetic treatments, observing the main parameters, form of application and the mechanism by which clay acts on the face with its benefits in lightening, absorbing the oiliness of the skin without dehydration, and treating the skin balancing its functions. For the survey of the articles, was used the database of academic google, with texts published in scientific journals. As an auxiliary source of reference, textbooks were used for the study area, for theoretical basis. The following descriptors were used: "Clay", "Skin", "Aesthetics". The inclusion criteria defined to select the articles were: articles published in Portuguese and articles referring to the use of clay in aesthetics, articles of clinical trial, bibliographical articles and articles published between 2007 and 2017. Data analysis was performed in a qualitative way. The results found in this research evidenced that the aesthetic segment can achieve favorable results in its procedures associating its techniques with the use of clay. In this sense, it is concluded that the mineral elements released by the clays in the facial treatment in the aqueous medium, when in contact with the skin, have their entry facilitated in the interstitial spaces of the cells of the epidermis and dermis, allowing the achievement of satisfactory results, when are used in facial aesthetic treatments.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado O uso da argila nos tratamentos estéticos: uma revisão integrativa(2018) Boing, Patricia Catarina MinaAbstract: The use of clay dates back to antiquity, both for therapeutic actions and for esthetic treatments, emphasizing its use by the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, who used clay for the 7 beautification of her skin. The present study consists of a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, in the form of a bibliographic review. It aimed to describe the use of clay in esthetic treatments through a bibliographic review. For the survey of articles, was used the database of academic google. The following descriptors and their combinations were used in the Portuguese language: "Clay for esthetics", "Claytherapy", "Geotherapy", "Clay use for esthetics", "Clay and Facial esthetics", "Clay and Body esthetics". The inclusion criteria defined for the selection of articles were: articles published in Portuguese; articles in full that depict the clay theme for esthetics, clinical trial articles, case study, literature review articles and articles published in the period from 2006 to 2018. The analysis of the selected studies, in relation to the delineation of the research, as well as the synthesis of data extracted from the articles was done in a descriptive way. As results we found articles that describe about the use of clay in esthetics. It is concluded that clays are rich in minerals, easy to use, and can be associated with other esthetic procedures and with that potentialize the results.
