Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Peeling mecânico no tratamento de cicatrizes atróficas de acne: revisão sistemática(2018) Cardoso, Amanda Fernandes; Bayer, Caroline Paes BentoAcne is a disease that affects men and women in any age group, especially in teenage years, and often causes scarring as a consequence. Acne scars can affect people’s self-esteem, who often seek treatment to cure or mitigate these scars. The purpose of this work is to carry out a bibliographical survey regarding the use of mechanical peeling in the treatment of acne scars, thus demonstrating its effectiveness. A systematic review of the literature was carried out, consulting the databases: PubMed, Web of Science, SciELO and Google Academic. The descriptors "mechanical peeling", "Microdermabrasion" and "acne scars" were used, obtaining a total of 3,400 studies, of these, 3,391 did not conform to the objectives of the research, thus remaining 9 studies for the revision. Two tables were used for the analysis of the results of the articles, one of revision studies and another of experiment studies. The findings of this bibliographical revision demonstrated that through the technique of mechanical peeling, the complete removal of Atrophic Acne scars was not achieved, however, the condition becomes less visible, as the mechanical peeling induces a cellular renewal which results in an improvement in the appearance and texture of the skin.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Uso da gluconolactona no tratamento da acne: uma revisão sistemática(2019) Rodrigues, Milena; Oliveira, HarielyAcne is a dermatological pathology that can cause psychological disorders that end up compromising the quality of their lives. Peeling is one of the procedures for the removal of the pathology. Cosmetic peeling formulations may be composed of AHAs, BHAs or PHAs. Gluconolactone is a representative of PHAs, is a non-toxic component, which can be used in treatments for acne among corneocytes and has anti-inflammatory activity. Objectives: Search for a systematic literature review of how gluconolactone works in the treatment of acne. Analyze the scientific studies that have used this product, comparing the effectiveness of the same and other acids in the treatment of acne; to verify as variables analyzed in the studies: degree of acne, percentage of gluconolactone and other acids in the formulation, pH, results, number of days and time of use of products containing gluconolactone. Results: Articles dated between 1992 and 2019 were selected from Google, Academic, PubMed and Web of Science search engines. A search resulted in a total of 291 articles. Of these, 282 were excluded, with 3 repeated studies in the searches, and only 1 article did not count repetition, leaving 4 studies for the critique in this systematic review. Conclusion: It concludes with this study using gluconolactone results - research results on diseases of inflammation or not, as well as better tolerance to treatment as well as in relation to the main active. It is recommended to use gluconolactone without acne treatment, without association with other active ingredients, to analyze the concentration and the ideal pH of gluconolactone, to be used without acne treatment, without response to the adverse impact and results of satisfactory results.
