Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Ativo para tratamento de alopecia androgenética disponibilizados por diferentes marcas(2019) Machado, Thaise Silvano; Raquel, Sara ToméFemale pattern androgenetic alopecia (AAG) is characterized by total or partial hair loss due to hormonal issues or genetic predispositions. It occurs in the form of a fall or by rarefaction of the threads, affecting both men and women. Although it does not pose any health risk, this dysfunction can impair the quality of life of the individual. Objective: To verify the cosmetic assets that are being used most in the expositor brands of the Congress Hair Brasil® 2018 and its mechanisms of action in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. Methodology: For this purpose, a descriptive research was conducted on data collection, with data of a quantitative and transversal nature regarding temporality. We researched different brands that produce products with cosmetic assets indicated for the treatment of hair loss. The analysis of the collected data was tabulated by the program Microsoft Excel 2010, being presented the nominal variables and real number of appearance of the asset in different products. Results: Among the most common actions among the active compounds were anti-inflammatory, regenerative, antiseptic, seborregulatory, protein synthesis stimulating and 5-alpha reductase enzyme inhibitors, but few studies have shown the mechanism of action of the active substances in androgenetic alopecia . Home treatment with assets is necessary to control the fall, but in order for the professional to be able to safely indicate products for home use, it is necessary to take a more in-depth approach to the mechanisms of action of these assets..
