Resumo
A dissertação “Diabetes Mellitus: como passar do discurso da amargura para o da doçura?” foi escrita como um trajeto da aprendizagem da “doçura de existir”, mesmo sem açúcar. Enfatiza a importância de o paciente diabético fazer-se impregnar da consciência de que poderá superar os traumas causados pelo diabetes mellitus, na medida em que altera comportamentos, desvencilha-se de tabus e hábitos, para adquirir qualidade de vida. Em sua estrutura, a dissertação apresenta teorias sobre linguagem, língua, ideologia e discurso, a que se seguem abordagens com foco dirigido para educação transformadora e para a doença diabetes mellitus. São teorias que se articulam, orientando o manejo do diabetes mellitus num processo de educação transformadora, em busca da superação dos discursos que uma realidade marcada por formações ideológicas fundadas na apologia da doçura vai instituindo. As teorias apresentadas tornam-se suportes para uma pesquisa-experimento aplicada a dez informantes diabéticos do município de Tubarão, cujo dizer se coloca em interdiscurso com as vozes de outros pacientes diabéticos, colhidas da Internet. Com objetivos de educação transformadora, a pesquisa-experimento procura verificar a percepção que o paciente diabético tem de si mesmo e da doença, ao mesmo tempo em que orienta para mudança de hábitos, comprovando que aí se encontra um caminho para transformar a amargura de ser diabético em doçura de existir.
The present study, Diabetes Mellitus: how to change from the discourse of bitterness to sweetness?, was written as a learning trajectory of the “existing sweetness” even without sugar. It emphasizes the importance for the diabetic pacient to become conscious that he/she is able to overcome the trauma caused by the diabetes mellitus, in this way changing his/her behaviour, becoming free from tabus and old habits acquiring new life quality. in its structure, the study presents language theory, ideology and discourse, followed by approaches focused on changeable education and diabetes mellitus desease. They are articulated theories to orient in the dealing of diabetes mellitus in a changeable education process, searching for the overcoming of the discourses that a reality marked by ideological formation, based on the apology of the sweetness, is substituting. The theories presented, in this study, become the support for a experiment-research applied in ten diabetics in Tubarão, which saying is situated in interdiscourse with other pacient voices, taken from Internet, with the objectives of a changeable education. The experiment research tries to verify the perception that the diabetic pacient has of him/herself and of the desease, at the same time orients to habit changes, proving that in it the way to change the bitterness of being a diabetic into sweetness, is possible.
