This work aims to analyze the mechanical properties of a metallic material from additive manufacturing by laser sintering process, comparing it with other metallic material from conventional processes (rolling and/or forging). This study proposes, from the data obtained, to demonstrate the main differences between those resulting from the processes and between the characteristics of the materials steel Maraging and AISI D6, once applied to tensile tests, hardness tests and metallographic analysis. Through these results and the same ones evaluated, it is possible to evaluate the main differences in mechanical properties that influence the efficiency and validation of prototypes in relation to the AISI D6 material.
