Resumo
Esta pesquisa procura discutir e analisar o lugar do leitor na obra poética de Paulo Leminski. Para tanto, problematizou-se o processo de construção do poeta e do leitor enquanto poeta nos contornos do pensamento do autor de Catatau, com a finalidade de elencar conceitos desse indivíduo que se constrói poeta; identificar a significação da leitura na poesia de Paulo Leminski e investigar, através de conceitos semióticos, como se dá esse lugar específico do leitor. Por isso, é lançado um olhar histórico-temporal sobre a poesia, situando-a em um tempo-espaço para que possa ser mensurada e compreendida em sua completude, bem como é apoiada nos pressupostos teóricos da percepção do leitor como um elemento de construção textual, partindo do conceito de Leitor-Modelo apresentado por Umberto Eco. Esta investigação apóia-se ainda nos conceitos de autoria elencados por Foucault, Barthes, Bakhtin, Eco e Gumbrecht, que promovem o desvelamento que Leminski tem para com este ponto importante na discussão acerca da poesia, que é o autor. Por fim, no quarto capítulo são lançadas reflexões sobre a semiótica peirciana. Sublinham-se abordagens sobre signos, seus objetos, seus representantes, seus interpretantes e as tríades que compõem a linha teórica da semiótica, a partir das reflexões de Charles Peirce e de estudiosos como Umberto Eco, Décio Pignatari, Haroldo de Campos e Lúcia Santaella. Com esta base teórico-metodológica estrutural e outras leituras que compõem a tessitura deste estudo, é possível identificar na poesia de Leminski uma preocupação constante em proporcionar ao leitor elementos que facilitem a sua compreensão do texto, pistas que o façam construir um sentido do texto e signos que se completem por meio de seus interpretantes. Os resultados alcançados ratificam a hipótese de que, sabedor da condição de autor que o leitor assume ao cooperar com um poema, a obra de Paulo Leminski traz signos capazes de revelar a posição de poeta do leitor por meio de estratégias textuais que estão sempre aptas a criar conexões entre a obra, o autor e seu leitor. A poesia de Paulo Leminski se revelou uma constante atitude de experimentação que abre caminhos para discussões contemporâneas sobre leitor, autor e, principalmente, sobre a construção e o lugar do poeta. Com isso, ele busca, a partir de seus versos, tornar sempre mais tênue a linha que separa o ato criativo, de seus potenciais criadores ¿ a independente de qual vértice poético este criador esteja ocupando.
This research aims at discussing and analyzing the role of the reader in Paulo Leminski's poetry. To do so, the process of construction of the poet and the reader as a poet in the contours of thoughts of the author of Catatau has been questioned in order to list the concepts of the individual that builds himself as a poet; to identify the significance of reading the poetry of Paulo Leminski and investigate, through semiotic concepts, how the role of the reader is presented. Thus, this research takes a historical-temporal look of poetry by situating it in a space-time that can be measured and understood in its completeness, and is supported by the theoretical assumptions of the reader's perception as an element of textual construction, assuming the concept of model reader - subscribed by Umberto Eco. This research still relies on the concepts of authorship listed by Foucault, Barthes, Bakhtin, Eco Gumbrecht, and promoting the unveiling that Leminski has with this important point in the discussion of poetry, which is the author. Finally, in the fourth chapter, reflections on Peirce's semiotics are posted. It highlights the approaches on signs, their objects, their representatives, their interpreters and the triads, Which are part of the theoretical framework of semiotics, basead on the reflections of Charles Peirce and scholars such as Umberto Eco, Decius Pignatari, Haroldo de Campos, and Lúcia Santaella. Through this theoretical and methodological structural basis and other readings that make up the context of this study, it is possible to identify in Leminski's Poetry a constant concern to provide the reader with information that facilitate his understanding of the text, clues that build a sense of the text and signs that are fulfilled through their interpreters. The results obtained confirm the hypothesis that, knowing that the reader assumes the condition of an author to cooperate with a poem, the work of Paulo Leminski brings signs revealing the position of the reader as poet through textual strategies that are always able to create connections between the work, the author, and the reader. The poetry of Paulo Leminski reveales itself in a constant attitude of experimentation that opens the door to contemporary discussions about the reader, the author, and mainly about its construction and the role of the poet. Therefore, he seeks through his verses to create a thin line that separates the creative act from its potential creators, regardless the poetic vertex the creator stands on.
