fama no cenário atual.
A presente
Crossfit® is a modality of physical activity that has been growing and gaining fame in the current scenario. The high intensity training model promotes the improvement of ten skills already performed by the human body, cardiorespiratory resistance, strength, flexibility, power, speed, agility, coordination, balance and accuracy. The feeding routine of the practitioners of this activity lacks many studies for the development of a protocol that instructs adequate nutrition and with positive effect on performance. The present review used the keywords Crossfit, Nutrition and Performance, using a time range of 5 (five) years, in the database of the National Library of Medicine (Pubmed®) and Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI), of this research after the exclusion of articles that were not related to the subject, the (5) five articles analyzed were selected. No study showed great significance in dietary protocols (low/high carbohydrate, mediterranean, vegan diet) used under increased performance, which brings us to the need for further research on the theme of dietary management for crossfit® practitioners.
