Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Parâmetros nutricionais para a prática e performance do Crossfit®: uma revisão integrativa(2020) Aguiar, AngelaThe objective this study wast identify the nutritional parameters for the practice and performance of CrossFit® in athletes orfans of the sport. This is na integrative literature review study, in the Literatura Latino-americana do Caribe (LILACS), PubMed e Scientific Eletronic Library Online (SCIELO), data bases, carried out in September 2020. After analyzing and searching the articles according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 7 articles were selected for composse there search. The results of studies with CrossFit® practition er shave shown that consuming large am ount sofwater during exercise can promote weight gain. To main tain the nutritional status in long periods of training, it is recommended to consume carbohydrates in theam ountof 8-10 g / kg / day. A ketogenic diet favors gains in muscle mas in CrossFit® training, reduction off atmass, however, raises the level of LDL cholesterol. The supplementation ofnitric oxide promotes anincrease in maximum power, but does not show improvements in the parameters of strengthan dresistance. Supplementation of progressive sodium bicarbonate improves exercise performance and greater training adaptation. Caffeine showed no improvement in athletic performance, but a significant learning effect was observed throughout training. The amount and composition of nutrients for the practice of CrossFit® can impact performance and body composition, and it is importante to advise sports nutrition ist stoindicate the proper diet for eachathlete, in order to improve performance, quality of the activity performedand prevent health problems related to food.
