Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Arteterapia aplicada à educação infantil(2020) Calixto, Alessandra MendesArt therapy leads to the expression of thoughts or feelings often impossible to express through a single language. This article is structured in three parts. Initially, we make a brief explanation about art therapy applied to early childhood education, in order to contextualize the research. In the second part, we characterize the results from the perspective of Vera Lúcia Trevisan de Souza (2016) and Viktor Lowenfeld (1976). In the third part we discuss the expressions of art and present some considerations about the contribution of art in the child development. This research aims to analyze the contribution and application of Art Therapy in early childhood education through a search for articles national and international, indexed, free access, online, wide access to consolidated databases in academia: EDUBASE, SciELO, Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, from the last 10 years, resulting in 12 articles. Research advances in terms of the importance of art for the child's development and points out the social role of creativity as inseparable characteristic of a resilient, inclusive citizen, above all free, capable of revolutionary acts for individual and collective life and good living.
