Monografia Acesso aberto Avaliação de desempenho por competências: uma proposta de melhoria na empresa X(2019) Tobias, João MatheusThe general objective of this work was to propose actions to improve the process of implementation of the Performance Assessment by Competencies, through research conducted with the files of Company X and the use of internal benchmarking. For this, a theoretical foundation was developed covering the topics: administration, people management, competency management and competency performance assessment. Methodologically, a research is applied, qualitative, descriptive and case study. As for data collection, a research is bibliographic, documentary, using interviews and participant observation. As main results, the study made it possible to understand how the competency performance evaluation is performed in Company X archives. In addition, it was possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses in the performance of the competency performance evaluation in the studied singular cooperatives, through a questionnaire applied to employees by the people management area of some of the affiliated cooperatives that already have an evaluation in place. As strengths, were identified the training for the understanding of the methodology by employees and managers; a possibility to identify the development needs of employees; and a possibility for career growth as a result of skills development. As weaknesses, the lack of credibility of competency performance appraisal at the beginning of deployment was identified; a difficulty in creating the Individual Development Plan; and lack of monitoring of managers' achievement of IDPs. Finally, it was possible to propose an action plan to improve the implementation process of the Competency Performance Assessment in Company X, based on the indicators verified in the subsidiaries.
