Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Alimentação complementar em menores de 24 meses atendidos em um ambulatório pediátrico de uma universidade privada do sul de Santa Catarina(2020) Medeiros, Maria EduardaIntroduction: Food is extremely important at the beginning of life, as the supply of nutrients and energy during this period of life helps in child development and growth, in addition to prioritizing good habits in the future and preventing the development of diseases. Objective: to evaluate the complementary feeding of children under 24 months attended in a pediatric outpatient clinic of a private university in the south of Santa Catarina, in 2020, in relation to the recommendations established by the Food Guide for Children under two years of the Ministry of Health. Methods: observational, cross-sectional and analytical study, which used secondary data as a source of information from the individual records of children under 24 months. Results: The study showed a high prevalence of early food introduction in children under six months of age, with a prevalence of fruits (34.38%) and milk and dairy products (71.70%) and presented a low introduction of healthy foods in complementary feeding in minors. 24 months. Conclusion: It was verified that the children's food does not follow the recommendations of the Ministry of Health, where only breast milk should be prioritized as food up to six months of age and complementary feeding after six months of age.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Avaliação do conhecimento dos agentes comunitários de saúde do município de tubarão, santa catarina sobre aleitamento materno(2021) Silva, Aline Berti daObjetivo: Avaliar o conhecimento dos Agentes Comunitários de Saúde do Município de Tubarão, Santa Catarina sobre aleitamento materno. Método: Estudo exploratório, descritivo com abordagem quantitativa. O instrumento realizado comtemplou um questionário online com questões sociodemográficas e sobre aleitamento materno com os profissionais ACS da Atenção Básica do Município de Tubarão, Santa Catarina. Resultados: Participaram do estudo 77 ACS, a maioria do sexo feminino (98,7%), casadas (59,7%), com média de idade de 51,5 anos (DP±8,51), que atuam há mais de 10 anos (81,8%). Quanto ao conhecimento sobre o aleitamento materno foi observado que a maioria dos profissionais apresentam bom conhecimento sobre aleitamento materno exclusivo (76%) e desistência da amamentação (76%) e baixo conhecimento do manejo de como amamentar (53,2%). Conclusão: O baixo conhecimento sobre o manejo do aleitamento materno demonstra carência de conhecimentos dos ACS, fato que evidência a necessidade de educação permanente como estratégia para potencializar o conhecimento e práticas dirigidas às orientações corretas sobre o aleitamento e nutrição materna.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Consumo alimentar de nutrizes atendidas em um ambulatório médico de uma universidade catarinense(2021) Fonseca, Dieinelyz Souza daObjetivo: Identificar os fatores que influenciam no consumo alimentar de nutrizes atendidas em um ambulatório médico de uma Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo transversal, quantitativo, com base em dados primários adquiridos através de dois questionários. Foram avaliadas 97 nutrizes atendidas no ambulatório da UNISUL, campus Tubarão. A coleta de dados foi realizada de forma online, por meio do ambiente virtual Google Forms®. Resultados: a faixa etária mais predominante de nutrizes foi com idades entre 29 e 33 anos (35,1%). De acordo com a profissão 31 nutrizes (32%) possuem trabalho com a carteira assinada. A maioria (61,9%) das mulheres tiveram parto cesáreo e com idade gestacional a termo (89,7%). Com relação ao planejamento da gestação, obteve-se maior número de gestações não planejadas (55%) e sem risco gestacional (55%). Na obtenção de apoio, encontraram apoio em seus companheiros (29,9%). Receberam orientação/sugestão de ingestão de alimentos em prol do aumento da produção de leite e relataram alguns tabus e crenças alimentares. Conclusão: Conclui-se que apesar de conhecer e compreender a relação entre os fatores socioeconômicos com o consumo alimentar compreende-se que a nutrição engloba muitas variáveis que a influenciam, como cuidado pré-natal, a importância da dieta e frequência alimentar, fatores econômicos e culturais, nesse estudo não verificou-se relação significativa entre eles.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Estudo de coorte sobre o perfil de nutrizes e a prática do aleitamento materno exclusivo em um hospital de média complexidade do sul de Santa Catarina(2019) Rosa, Dara daObjective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the profile of nursing mothers and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding in relation to their knowledge on the subject. Methods: This is an epidemiological study conducted in a Southern Hospital of Santa Catarina evaluating 100 nursing mothers. The first stage of data collection took place in the hospital through the application of a questionnaire 24 hours postpartum and after the mothers had breastfed, after an interval of 30, 90 and 180 days a telephone contact was made and a questionnaire was applied to assess whether breastfeeding was being maintained. Results: Exclusive breastfeeding until the sixth month was followed by only 31 nursing mothers. Of the nursing mothers who were exclusively breastfeeding until the first month of pregnancy, just over half, 51% answered 3 or more of the questions related to knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, indicating that they had a better knowledge about those who did not breastfeed. At 3 and 6 months, all nursing mothers, regardless of whether they were exclusively breastfed or not, answered 3 or more questions. The study identified that the majority of nursing mothers had some knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, but it was not enough to guarantee Conclusion: the study identified that most of the nutrients had some knowledge about exclusive breastfeeding, but it was not enough to guarantee the practice of breastfeeding until the previous month.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Fatores associados ao perfil de aleitamento em crianças atendidas em um ambulatório da saúde da criança na cidade de Tubarão - SC.(2020) Martins, FrancieleObjectives: To evaluate the factors associated with the breastfeeding profile in children attended at a outpatient clinic in the city of Tubarão – SC. Methods: This is an observational, analytical study with a cross-sectional design, based on primary data acquired by sending a WhatsApp® link to those responsible for the child. Children under the age of 24 months attended at the outpatient clinic at the University of Southern Santa Catarina were included, the research included a sample of 60 participants, and it was approved by the institution’s CEP. Results: 60 binomials were evaluated. Maternal occupation, home care (p=0,009, N=7, 38,9%) and other professions (p=0,009, N=6, 33,3%), such as complications during breastfeeding (p=0,046, N=12, 66,7%) the most prevalent being the low milk variable (p= 0,007, N= 9, 50,0%), the use of pacifiers (p= 0,004, N= 14, 77,8%), support of professionals during breastfeeding (p=0,018, N=11, 61,1%), if the main factors associated with early weaning. Unemployed mothers (p=0,009, N=8, 19%), breastfeeding in the first hour of life (p=0,006, N=42, 100%) is independent as a protective factor for exclusive breastfeeding until the 6th month. Conclusion: difficulties to breastfeed, use of pacifiers, professional guidance, maternal ocupation are factors that limit the duration of exclusive breastfeeding.Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Introdução de alimentos ultraprocessados na alimentação de crianças menores de 36 meses de idade de creches públicas do município de Pescaria Brava, Santa Catarina(2021-06-24) Cardoso, Bruna de SouzaObjetivo: Analisar a introdução de alimentos industrializados na dieta de crianças de seis a trinta e seis meses de idade de creches públicas municipais de um município do sul de Santa Catarina (SC). Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo quantitativo, analítica, exploratório e de caráter transversal, que foi realizado com crianças de seis a trinta e seis meses matriculados nos Centros de Educação Infantil (CEI) do município. Os dados foram obtidos através de um questionário com perguntas fechadas, validado e adaptado aos objetivos da pesquisa. Os dados coletados foram digitados em um banco de dados no programa Microsoft Excel® e posteriormente transformado e analisado pelo spss versão 22. Para variáveis quantitativas e qualitativas foram utilizadas medidas de tendência central e de dispersão. Resultados: Verificou-se que a maioria das crianças que foram amamentadas receberam aleitamento materno exclusivo até os seis meses de idade. Referente a introdução da fórmula infantil o presente estudo observou essa introdução em 40,0% das crianças antes dos seis meses, e os motivos foram orientação médica, retorno ao trabalho e leite insuficiente. Em relação a introdução de alimentos ultraprocessados verificou-se que estes vêm sendo introduzidos cada vez mais precocemente na alimentação das crianças. Os resultados levam a concluir que as práticas alimentares de crianças entre seis e 36 meses estão inadequadas frente às recomendações atuais da OMS e do MS. Podendo trazer prejuízos à saúde destas crianças, como o surgimento de obesidade e DCNT”s.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Práticas de aleitamento materno e alimentação complementar em crianças menores de 24 meses da rede pública municipal da cidade de Braço do Norte, SC(2018) Cardoso, Camila Martins LaurindoObjectives: To analyze the practices of breastfeeding and complementary feeding in children from six to 24 months of the municipal public network of the city of Braço do Norte - Santa Catarina, in the year 2017. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out with 165 children aged 0-24 months attending day-care centers in the city of Braço do Norte-Santa Catarina in the year 2017. Information was obtained through a closed questionnaire containing data sociodemographic characteristics of the mother or guardian, issues related to breastfeeding and feeding practices. Data were analyzed using Stata 12.0 software. Results: The prevalence of breastfeeding was 58.8%, of which 52.5% of the children were exclusively breastfed between 4 and 6 months. Regarding complementary feeding, 56.4% received fruits and / or fruit juice as the first solid food, 47.3% received the first foods in the scraped consistency and 49.7% of the children received the same family meal between 6 to 7 months. Conclusion: The results showed a low prevalence of breastfeeding in the study population, in relation to complementary feeding, it was indicated the presence of adequate foods such as fruits, vegetables and meats in the daily feeding of children, however, the results also showed the early introduction of foods such as sugary drinks. These results show the importance of actions that included the entire school community, teachers and nutritionists involved in the topic of healthy eating and the encouragement of practices that increase breastfeeding time and especially exclusive breastfeeding.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Prevalência e características do aleitamento materno e da alimentação complementar de crianças de seis a 36 meses de idade do município de Gravatal, SC(2018) Teixeira, Seonara MatheusObjective: To describe the prevalence and characteristics of breastfeeding and complementary feeding of children from six to 36 months of age in the municipality of Gravatal - SC. Methods: Cross-sectional study, with a descriptive and analytical character. For data collection, a semi-structured questionnaire containing the sociodemographic data of the mother and questions related to breastfeeding and the characteristics of complementary feeding were used. The data were analyzed using SPSS software (version 22). Results: A total of 102 mothers and children were evaluated, the prevalence of breastfeeding was higher in children over six months (22.5%). In relation to complementary feeding, liquids such as water and / or teas (64.7%) and cow's milk or powdered milk (34.3%) were offered mostly before six months. Foods such as vegetables (71.6%), cereals (68.6%), legumes (72.55%) and meats (72.5%) were offered according to the mothers from six months, such as bullets (54.9%), soft drinks, box or powdered juices (58.8%) and snacks (70.7%) were offered after 12 months. The association between mothers' socioeconomic and demographic factors in relation to the time of introduction of the different feeding groups revealed significant associations between working mothers and the early introduction of cow's milk (p = 0.041). Conclusion: The introduction of non-recommended foods before 6 months of age was verified; in addition, the results showed a low prevalence of breastfeeding in the indicated population, the results should serve as a basis for future local actions that encourage breastfeeding maternal and healthy practices in complementary feeding.
