Monografia Acesso aberto Análise da Lei 13.260/16 (lei antiterrorismo) e seu impacto no direito penal(2017) Rodrigues, Gabriel GeanTerrorism is a common theme in the lives of security and intelligence professionals, especially after September 11th. The attack on the Twin Towers took the terrorism from the dark world of intelligence games and movie screens to newspapers, television programs and to everyone, through the internet. A world problem that has always seemed so far away, today is common for us, Brazilians. Terrorism may not have made an alarming appearance in our country, but it should not have been out of the concern of legislators. The Brazilian legislation was devoid of criminalization of terrorism. The Brazilian Penal Code, dating from 1940, gave terrorism only a few lines. The law 13.260/16 was drafted to definitively place the crime of terrorism under the Law in Brazil. With its creation, terrorism was conceptualized, and what was once only a few lines between the drafting of other laws, now gains specific typification and also specific penalties. Law 13.260/16 was created to cover what in the past was not necessary, that is, to reach crimes that were not of our reality. This work analyzes the law 13.260/16 through the bibliography published so far, through its articles, critiques and reflections, in order to evaluate its impacts on Criminal Law.
