Resumo
The present work aims to analyze the actions taken by the Brazilian State regarding the situation of refugees from Venezuela who came to Brazil, in the light of Brazilian and international laws that rule the issue. Refugee and migration laws will be studied, as well as a historical analysis of their emergence and application in the specific case of refugees from Venezuela. The origins of the Declaration of Human Rights, of the creation of the UN and its institutes that aim to regulate and control migratory and refuge acts in the world will be understood. In order to accomplish that, the method of research used will be the bibliographical and documental one. A dissertation will also be made on the recent history of Venezuela, the political factors that generated conflicts with the population, as well as the economic problems faced by years in that country, which ended up generating the humanitarian crisis. Finally, the work will aim to provide a more in-depth notion of the actions taken by the Brazilian government and international entities with regard to taking care of the precarious situation of refugees in Brazil.
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo fazer uma análise sobre as ações feitas pelo Estado brasileiro frente à situação dos refugiados da Venezuela que vieram para o Brasil, à luz das leis brasileiras e internacionais que regem a questão. Serão estudadas as leis de refúgio e de migração, bem como será feita uma análise histórica de seu surgimento e aplicação no caso concreto dos refugiados da Venezuela. Para tanto, far-se-á uso da metodologia de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental. Serão entendidas as origens da Declaração dos Direitos Humanos, da criação da ONU e seus institutos que visam regulamentar e controlar os atos migratórios e de refúgio no mundo. Também será feita uma dissertação sobre a história recente da Venezuela, os fatores políticos que geraram os conflitos com a população, bem como os problemas econômicos enfrentados por anos naquele país, que acabaram por gerar a crise humanitária. Por fim, o trabalho terá como objetivo o de proporcionar uma noção mais aprofundada das ações realizadas pelo governo brasileiro e pelas entidades internacionais no que diz respeito a cuidar da situação precária dos refugiados no Brasil.
