Artigo Científico Acesso fechado "Eu nunca havia pensado nisso": percepções de estudantes da Naturologia sobre o alcoolismo(2017) Antonio, Aldanir EdnaABSTRACT - This research aimed to find out the students’ perception in the undergraduate course of Naturology at Unisul, regarding alcoholism and possible intervention practices directed at interacting abusive alcohol users. Once it is a relevant topic for the healthcare field, especially for the field of Naturology, the discussion held chose as a starting point the students’ perception about the questions in the Interagency Registry used in the School Clinic and its possible connections with alcoholism. Methodologically, the research was carried out based on the qualitative approach. The tool used to access the data was individual interview, semi-structured, performed verbally, recorded and transcribed in full. The Bardin content analysis was the strategy used to organize and analytically explore the narratives of the individuals participating in the research. The study results indicate the interviewed students perceived the relevance of the topic and the need for studies related to alcoholism for possible coping with the disease in the clinical practice of Naturology. The research also produced indicators that point out the need for greater debate and/or approach to the subject of alcoholism during the Naturology course. That would expand the possibilities for contributions in this area in the production of knowledge and practices committed to tackling alcoholism as a social and individual phenomenon. Keywords: Alcoholism. Naturology. However, little is known about the reasons that lead these individuals to join a diet that requires and extensive dietary restriccion are known. Thus, the present research aimed to understand the motivations for individuals, without diagnosis of gluten – related diseases for adherence to the gluten-free diet. To do so, it adopted a qualitative and exploratory approuch, where interviews were conducted with 12 indiviuals. The meetings were marked according to the availability of the participants and a semi-structered script was used to conduct the interview. The interviews were recorded and the content transcribed verbatim.Data were analyzed using the content analysis technique. The results point to health as the main motivation to adhere to the gluten-free diet, followed by the asethetic result and political ideology and environmental concern with the mass production of wheat-based foods. As social and economic consequences involved in motivacion, it was identified that the high cost, the lack of family support and the difficulty to eat outside the house due to the absence of gluten-free products are factors that make it difficult to adhere to a diet with total restriction to gluten. As factors that facilitate the adherence and maintenance of the diet, the socialization and the possibility of new gastronomic experiences were the ones pointed out by the interviewees. In 2017 ICT was inserted in the Política Nacional de Práticas Integrativas e Complementares - PNPIC (National Integrative and Complementary Practices Policy – NICPP) as one of the therapeutic tools offered in the Unified Health System. Objective: to understand how Integrative Community Therapy has been used in the municipal health network of the municipality of Palhoça, in Santa Catarina. Materials and Methods: qualitative research, survey and exploratory method, approved by the Research Ethics Committee of the University of Southern Santa Catarina. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with five managers and a social worker from five Basic Health Units of this municipality between August and September 2018 and these were treated using the technique of Analysis of the Thematic Content of Bardin. Results: the analysis indicated three categories: 1) Unknowledge of the terminology Integrative Community Therapy; 2) Benefits of Community Therapy in UBS and 3) Factors that hinder the performance of health professionals. Final Considerations: The terminology Community Therapy is better known than Integrative Community Therapy. Among the five UBS of the study, two offer community therapy, although, despite some similarities with the ICT, it was not possible to say if it treated the same therapeutic practice, since a minority of the health professionals of the municipality were trained to use such a tool. However, the interviewees whose UBS perform community therapy observe benefits, such as building bonds, improving self-esteem and stopping medications in regular participants.Artigo Científico Acesso fechado O uso dos recursos sonoros(2018) Souza, Letícia Petruz deThe goal of this research was to assess the use of sound resources, sounds and music, by naturologists in the attendance, how are used to compose an environment with a welcoming listening, the participation of the interacting agent in this process. It refers to a qualitative and discriptive study using a half structured interview applied by naturologos who treated children diagnosed with ADHD. The collected data were analised through the Bardin’s content analysis and were described in the following categories: (1) Children with ADHD under the perspective of naturologo, (2) The naturology’s care to children with ADHD, (3) Naturology as a proposal to unmedicate children with ADHD. In conclusion, the naturology has a broad perception of the child patient with ADHD. It was found that the particularities of the naturology’s care facilitated the comprehention of the process by the naturologo and the patient. It was noticed that the naturologo’s care can present itself as a complementary form of treatment to the conventional ones, and in some cases can be the only treatment used to unmedicate patients. However, it was found that when naturology is used to substitute allopathy it is also a medicating practice as it assumes the existence of a pathology.Artigo Científico Acesso fechado Aspectos demográficos, socioeconômicos e profissionais dos naturólogos e naturólogas(2018) Silva, Sarah Cecci Leite daObjective: To describe the demographics, socioeconomics and professionals aspects of naturologists in Brazil. PC has its different phases - the diagnosis, the treatment, and the psychosocial rehabilitation – in which the patient has his life changed in physical, psychic, and social dimensions. Once the PC is identified, the prostatectomy is the most indicated and common approach. Among the complications of that surgery, urinary incontinence (UI) and erectile dysfunction (ED) are the most afflictive to men. The frequency of UI depends on the type of surgery and the surgical technique. ED is a predominantly vascular disease. In naturology and its comprehensive therapies, the use of the moxibustion of Artemisia vulgaris in acupoints or body areas stands out in the theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Moxibustion has the ability to heat the point or area deeply, obtaining the clearing of acupoints, meridians or channels, and it eliminates the humidity and cold that can cause dysfunctions in the body, helps to regulate energy balance, and provides effective results in the treatment of UI and ED. Objective: to verify the effects of moxa (artemisia vulgaris) smoke on UI and ED in a case of radical prostatectomy. Materials and methods: the case study was carried out at Clinic School of Naturology, in 24 sessions of moxa smoking for 5 and 10 minutes, in acupoints: CV2, CV3, CV4, CV6, SP-6, ST-36, GV2, GV3, GV4, BL23, and GV20. The questionnaires applied were: the Quality of Life Questionnaire (WHOQOL-OLD), the urinary incontinence questionnaire (ICIQ-SF), and a general questionnaire.Artigo Científico Acesso fechado O perfil dos docentes das unidades de aprendizagem estruturantes do curso de Naturologia da Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina(2018) Alexandrino, CeresIt is considered the university as a place of exchange and learning of new and old knowledge, where the teacher is a figure of paramount importance. It stimulates and arouses interest in students, it is he who sets the example of ethics and discipline, which makes all the difference in the cultural training of its academics. In the area of health, the importance of qualified education is even more important, and the course of Naturology is directly linked not only to the content of learning units, but mainly to the way in which this content is taught. The more efficient the teacher, the more stimulus to knowledge, reading, research, improvement and news that are emerging, the better the student's training and future professional action with society. The text deals with the continuing formation of the teachers who teach the learning units (LU) of the course of Naturology of the University of the South of Santa Catarina (UNISUL), considering the relation between their initial formations and the LU taught by them in said course. The research carried out with university professors starts from the following problem: what is the profile of these teachers about their continuing education? The objectives were to outline the profile; examine the academic curriculum of these teachers; check that it is compatible with the LU who teach and point out the continuing education courses they have completed (complementary courses, post-graduation courses - lato sensu and strictu sensu). The methodology of mixed and descriptive approach of the research was carried out through a questionnaire containing twelve semi-open and individual questions through an interview with sixteen professors of the course. The analysis was based on descriptive statistics (percentage) and Bardin on questions six and ten of the questionnaire, considering as basic categories: the personal aspects of the teachers; teaching activity and aspects of the university.
