Monografia Acesso aberto O acesso à saúde e a diminuição da judicialização das políticas públicas de saúde por meio da mediação: uma análise acerca da (im)possibilidade de implementação do Programa "SUS Mediado" no Estado de Santa Catarina(2020) Silveira Zanelatto, IsabeleThe present study aims to analyze the possibility of the implementation of the SUS Mediated Program in the State of Santa Catarina as a mechanism to facilitate access to health through mediation which, consequently, reduces the cases of judicialization of this public policy. The objective is, through the analysis of the SUS Mediated Program, to study mediation as an alternative method to the excessive judicialization of health services and as a possibility to guarantee the right to health and the establishment of access to health in a free, universal, and unbureaucratic way for the whole population. For this purpose, the work was divided into three chapters, the first chapter addressed the right to health in light of the 1988 Federal Constitution and access to health, the second chapter dealt with the judicialization of public health policies, and the third chapter brings the discussion of mediation as an alternative method to health claims, making an analysis about the SUS Mediated Program. The methodology used was, regarding the research approach, it was inductive; for the method of procedure, it was monographic; relating to the procedure of data collection, it was bibliographic and documentary. The type of research employed, in terms of approach, was qualitative. The research was also theoretical and prescriptive. Through the data presented during the monograph, it was found that the Program's activity decreased the cases of judicialization by up to 90% (ninety percent) in the states where it was implemented. Through this work, it was concluded that the implementation of the SUS Mediated Program in the State of Santa Catarina could be effective to reduce the excessive judicialization of health services, to guarantee the right to health, and as a method that facilitates access to health for citizens.
