Artigo Científico Acesso aberto A associação de coordenação motora dos estudantes com o nível de atividade física do 4º ano de uma escola pública e privada no município de Imbituba(2019) Aires, Vagner RobertoMotor coordination has been the focus of several studies due to its relationship with the growth of children and enabling the development of basic tasks. Therefore, the aim of this study is to verify whether motor coordination is related to the level of physical activity, to verify motor coordination and the level of physical activity; compare motor coordination between schools; and compare the level of physical activity between schools. The sample then consisted of 21 students, 11 public school students and 10 private school students. Being 8 females and 13 males, with an average age of 9 years. The research instruments were the KTK test composed of 4 tasks that assess students 'motor coordination and a questionnaire applied to detect students' physical inactivity levels. Questionnaire by Crocker et al. (1997), PAQ-C. A questionnaire with closed questions that seeks to investigate the level of physical activity of students in the last seven days. The results indicate that students generally reached levels within the normal range of motor coordination. In comparing the KTK test score between public and private schools, there was a better performance in public schools. When comparing the PAC-C score, the private school performed better. When comparing the KTK test score between males and females, males performed better. The score comparison of the PAC-C questionnaire between males and females presented better male performance. Where, in none of the comparisons there was significant difference.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Comparação da aptidão física relacionada à saúde de escolares praticantes e não praticantes de atividades físicas complementares na escola(2019) Capistrano, Marina VargasAbstract: OBJECTIVES: To identify and compare the health-related physical fitness levels of students, practitioners and non-practitioners of complementary physical activities. With this rapid skeletal growth, there may be an increase in muscle tendon tension on the joints, thus generating loss of flexibility. People who are not very flexible show difficulty in maintaining the various body postures, after all, it will facilitate movements in the various professional activities and daily activities. We observe that sedentary life is taking more and more of young people. Authors state that little motor stimulation consequently generates a reduction in flexibility due to the decrease in movements with large amplitudes associated with increasing age. The present study aims to analyze the existing relationships between physical activity and the flexibility of children and adolescents, as well as to verify the instruments used to measure flexibility in publications of scientific journals. We use the systematic review method Systematic Search Flow, where the databases used for the research were Pubmed, Scopus and Web of Science. Seventy researched articles were selected between June and July 2020, which after going through the filtering and elimination criteria resulted in 09 articles for review. The results on flexibility in children and adolescents are linked to studies of components of physical fitness, which puts flexibility as a background in the criteria to be studied, that is, they do not use the flexibility component as the main object of study. The research presents in most of the articles the indirect relationship between physical activity and flexibility. We cannot define whether physical activity has a direct influence on flexibility because diverse results were presented. Further studies on the subject are still needed, mainly with the flexibility component in relation to physical activity, since the recent literature shows few results on the same.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Relação do excesso de peso e a autoestima de crianças e adolescentes: uma revisão(2020) Antunes, Janete da RosaObesity has become a very discussed issue by health professionals and researchers, due to the high number of individuals with obesity and overweight today, including children and adolescents. Obesity is closely linked to physical inactivity and mood disorders, such as depression, anxiety and low self-esteem. Based on these questions, this research aims to verify the studies that relate overweight in children and adolescents with self-esteem and check the main statements found. This is a systematic review research that adopted the SSF (Systematic Search Flow) method for searching and selecting articles. To use this method it is necessary to go through 4 phases and 8 activities. It is concluded that there are a good number of publications on the subject, and even the number of publications studied has supported the result of the research. It was possible to verify that there is a concern of researchers in the area of health and education regarding the subject.
