When the child overestimates his or her skills, he or she ends up creating unrealistic expectations of future performance, and because of that, they fail, which makes them give up challenges. The main objective of this study is to relate the nutritional status with the self-perception of competence scale of elementary school students of Gravatal Schools. A descriptive, associative research was carried out, with almost experimental methodological design, cross-sectional. Thus the present study aims to verify the Quality of Life of Physical Education Teachers, also observing the difficulties they haveday by day, dissatisfaction related to the work environment, remuneration issues, adequate materials and structure. The research instrument used will be the questionnaire about the test procedures of the test Quality of Life of Physical Education Teachers, also observing the be the questionnaire about the test procedures of the test Quality of Life Assessment Scale Perceived by Physical Education Teachers (QVT-PEF), with 34 questions about quality of life at work of 10 professionals in physical education area, in order to investigate, respectively: remuneration and compensation, working conditions, an immediate opportunity for the use and development of human habilities, a future opportunity for growth and security, social integration in work organization, constitutionalism in work organization, work and total space of life, with social relevance of life at work. It is possible to say, according to the data collection, that the professional may be influenced by the family and personal environment when he develops his work activities, what can change the produtivity on work. Therefore, it is essential that the professional has a routine of exercises and leisure, to maintain a good quality of personal life and, consequently, also at work.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Nível de atividade física e fatores motivacionais á prática das aulas de educação física de estudantes de uma escola pública(2019) Higino, Henrique CândidoThe aim of this study is to verify the physical activity level of elementary school students and the reasons that lead or not the students to practice the physical education classes. The research is characterized as descriptive, quantitative and field. The population consisted of 27 students from the fifth and sixth grade of elementary school, aged between 10 and 12 years of both genders. The instrument for data collection will be the questionnaire prepared by Kobal and the PAQ-C questionnaire with closed questions intended for adolescents, and the questionnaires were complemented by the students' BMI analysis. The results of the present research indicated that the physical activity level of the participating students was classified as low, with the majority of the students being classified as sedentary, the research also shows that the intrinsic motivation was relatively higher than the extrinsic motivation, in order to The present research shows that most students were classified as normal weight and some had thinness, overweight and obesity.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Os professores de educação física e suas relações aos temas transversais com os alunos do ensino básico de escolas públicas(2019) Silva, Carina CechinelThere is much discussion about the importance of addressing issues whit the children and with adolescents, among them are sexuality, drugs (alcohol and smoking), domestic violence and quality of life. Since 1997, the so-called transversal themes: ethics, health, environment, sexual orientation and cultural plurality have been mandatory by the MEC in the National Curriculum Parameters (PCN), but each educational institution may choose to approach them in the classroom. The traditional subjects do not deal with a set of questions posed by the reality experienced by the students.The research questions raised are: how Physical Education teachers work with the transversal theme in their pedagogical practice; what are the challenges encountered by these professionals in the classroom with the theme and what trajectories these professionals have empirically elucidated about the subject in question. The sample was for non-probabilistic convenience containing 10 Physical Education teachers of both sexes, older than 18 years. The research instrument was a questionnaire with open descriptive and objective closed questions, aiming to verify the pedagogical practices related to the transversal themes. With this research it was observed that teachers treat little of these subjects in the classroom with their students, because many of these themes they have difficulties to approach, but when talked about, the methodology that most use is through wheels of conversation, debates and works.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Métodos para a participação dos alunos nas competições escolares na modalidade de atletismo(2019) Américo, Cristian de MedeirosAthletics is characterized as the base content for other sports, its practice is best suited to provide the socialization, integration and inclusion of all students. The Ministry of Education and Culture created the Brazilian Student Games (JEBs), a school competition designed to foster integration and discover sports talent. The main objective of this investigation was to verify the methods used for students' participation in school competitions by teachers, in athletics. As a specific objective, to verify if teachers participate in school competitions with their students in athletics. A questionnaire with 30 Physical Education teachers linked to the 19th CRE of Tubarão was applied. Of the 30 teachers questioned, 63.3% participate in school competitions, in the form of athletics, and 78.94% of them adopt by invitation based on physical and technical abilities, observed in Physical Education classes. It is concluded that teachers use three different methods for participating in school competitions with their students; the invitation based on physical and technical skills, observed in Physical Education classes (15) practical/competitive selection of students who want to compete (7) and some teachers choose to take students on their behalf (6). Using the one of your choice, aiming at the number of students for competition and the number of tests of the sport.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado O interesse na prática das aulas de educação física dos estudantes de ensino médio na rede pública e privada de Imbituba- SC(2019) Marques, MatheusAbstract: The purpose of the present study was to measure the level of student satisfaction regarding Physical Education and to compare this level in public and private institutions in Imbituba-SC. This is a descriptive, field study and data survey, conducted with 177 students of both sexes, enrolled and attending high school in the city of Imbituba - SC. The research instrument was a satisfaction questionnaire adapted. The collected data was transferred to IBM SPSS software and analyzed using descriptive statistics. It is concluded with this study that students from private schools are more satisfied with the practical classes of Physical Education when compared to students from public schools. Results: The results showed significant values in the satisfaction (p=0,003*), participation (p=0,003*) and relationship with the teacher (p=0,048*), but both schools find Physical Education classes important (p=0,93).Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Motivação de escolares dos 7º e 8º anos nas aulas de educação física de um colégio privado de Tubarão- SC(2019) Mendes, Larissa da RosaThe importance of Physical Education in the school context is due to the fact that school represents one of the main educational spaces for health promotion. Considering the important role of Physical Education in the process of formation and development of children and young people, it is essential that classroom activities are motivating and meaningful to students. Thus, the motivation determines the forms of behavior directed towards a goal, it is an internal or external force that leads the individual to a certain action. It teaches that there are two ways to enjoy an activity, intrinsically and extrinsically. The research aimed to verify the motivational level present in Physical Education classes of a private school in the city of Tubarão-SC, to verify if there is a difference in the level of motivation between males and females in students from 7th and 8th grades, as well as to analyze if the practice of physical activity of family members interferes with the motivation of students in Physical Education classes. For comparison of the sample, 95 students of both sexes were selected for convenience, 50 female and 45 male. The results were more than half of the students are motivated or very motivated in Physical Education classes, totaling 51.0% in females and 54.0% male, which is good given that most are motivated for classes. When comparing motivation between males and females, the average was 54.70 points in females and in males the average was 58.64 points. According to the result found, it is noted that there was no significant difference between female and male motivation. Through this study we can conclude as “good” the motivation level of students in Physical Education classes. As also, based on this study it was found that more than 50% of students are motivated by the classes proposed by teachers. Regarding the analysis of the difference in motivation between the sexes, it can be assured that there was no significant difference in motivation. That is, both sexes are equally motivated.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Esportes radicais: a educação física escolar fora das quatro linhas(2019) Cominesi Jr, Moisés CominesiThis study aimed to introduce the practice of Extreme Sports (RE) through Physical Education (PE) in Elementary School, as well as to verify the interest and satisfaction of students regarding the practice related to RE. With exploratory and qualitative methodology, it was conducted in a school in the municipality of Imbituba with 30 students, whose ages vary between 13 and 14 years of both sexes. The research instruments were two questionnaires, the first related to the students' interest about the RE in school PE and the second about the satisfaction after the classes experienced during the study. The results showed that 96.7% (29 students) are interested in having RE classes in school PE, as well as 100% (30 students) showed partial or total satisfaction regarding the classes taught.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto A associação de coordenação motora dos estudantes com o nível de atividade física do 4º ano de uma escola pública e privada no município de Imbituba(2019) Aires, Vagner RobertoMotor coordination has been the focus of several studies due to its relationship with the growth of children and enabling the development of basic tasks. Therefore, the aim of this study is to verify whether motor coordination is related to the level of physical activity, to verify motor coordination and the level of physical activity; compare motor coordination between schools; and compare the level of physical activity between schools. The sample then consisted of 21 students, 11 public school students and 10 private school students. Being 8 females and 13 males, with an average age of 9 years. The research instruments were the KTK test composed of 4 tasks that assess students 'motor coordination and a questionnaire applied to detect students' physical inactivity levels. Questionnaire by Crocker et al. (1997), PAQ-C. A questionnaire with closed questions that seeks to investigate the level of physical activity of students in the last seven days. The results indicate that students generally reached levels within the normal range of motor coordination. In comparing the KTK test score between public and private schools, there was a better performance in public schools. When comparing the PAC-C score, the private school performed better. When comparing the KTK test score between males and females, males performed better. The score comparison of the PAC-C questionnaire between males and females presented better male performance. Where, in none of the comparisons there was significant difference.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Primeiros socorros na escola: percepção dos acadêmicos do programa residência pedagógica/Unisul/Capes(2019) Duarte, Aline SouzaThis study aimed to verify the perceptions about the knowledge in First Aid of Physical Education students who participate in the Pedagogical Residency Program. The method used in the research was descriptive, with a quantitative and qualitative approach with methodological design of data collection, field and cross section. The sample consists of 29 students of the Physical Education course who participate in the Pedagogical Residency Program. As a data collection instrument, we used a questionnaire of open and closed questions prepared by the author. Quantitative data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics with absolute simple frequency and relative frequency values of qualitative variables. The qualitative analysis of the research was performed through discussion with theoretical basis of the theme. For data tabulation, the Word 2010 program was used. The results showed that 48% of the participants of the Pedagogical Residency Program do not feel prepared to work in emergency situations at school and 90% could not relate the First Aid items that the school has. It is suggested the implementation of an emergency training program with the teachers and school’s employees, aiming to develop prevention and health promotion actions of the school, in order to minimize the damage resulting from incorrect manipulation of the victim and / or from the lack of immediate help.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Análise sobre o conhecimento teórico e prático em primeiros socorros dos professores de Educação Física na rede de ensino de São Martinho – SC(2019) Necker, Juliana AparecidaThe present article deals with the first aid knowledge analysis of the Physical Education Teachers of the São Martinho School Network - SC, because in the school environment accidents are very common, due to the number of children in the same place. Therefore the first care is very important not to aggravate the situation. The objective of the study was to expose teachers' knowledge regarding first aid and an approach was made about the accidents in the school environment. It was verified what were the main procedures adopted by the Physical Education teacher in relation to accidents at school; check if they have done any training that involved the discipline and if it is still valid or needs updating. Report the orientation that the professional had in his undergraduate, as the importance of knowledge and procedures of prompt care in schools. This project has a descriptive study level, quantitative approach with semi-experimental methodological design, field and cross section. The sample consists of 05 teachers of both sexes from the Teaching Networks of São Martinho (SC), the collection was performed through a questionnaire with open and closed questions. Given the results, it was found that teachers had some content about first aid during graduation, not all still consider valid, but most respondents consider themselves prepared to provide good care in case of an accident. It was also checked if the schools have any staff or teacher trained in basic first aid according to Law 13.722 / 2018, but no school has these professionals.Artigo Científico Acesso embargado Comparação da aptidão física relacionada à saúde de escolares praticantes e não praticantes de atividades físicas complementares na escola(2019) Capistrano, Marina VargasAbstract: OBJECTIVES: To identify and compare the health-related physical fitness levels of students, practitioners and non-practitioners of complementary physical activities. METHODS: Cross-sectional study of quantitative approach. The sample consisted of 58 students of both genders, aged 7 to 11 years from a school in Tubarão - SC, which were divided into two groups: 29 practitioners and 29 non-regular physical exercise. Based on the Project Sports Brazil PROESP-BR test battery, the BMI calculation, the flexibility test (sitting and reaching), the abdominal resistance test and the cardiorespiratory aptitude test (running / walking 6 minutes) were performed. RESULTS: The group practicing complementary activities at school obtained the result of 886.428m (SD = 83.760) in the 6-minute running / walking test, 36.14cm (SD = 8.25) for the flexibility test and the endurance test. abdominal the amount of 31.72 (8.94) repetitions. And the group not practicing complementary activities at school, the result of 821.372m (SD = 99.937) in the 6-minute running / walking test, 30.31cm (SD = 9.00) for the flexibility test and for the test. of abdominal resistance the amount of 20.24 (SD = 7.33) repetitions. The subjects of the researchers are students of the childhood education aged 3 to 5 years, enrolled in swimming classes from an extension project of the University of Southern Santa Catarina (Unisul). The data was obtained from shooting and record in field journal, being categorized and qualitatively analyzed. The analyses indicate that the playfulness are the guideline for learning in childhood experiences on water, playing they develop important skills towards autonomy in the aquatic environment and actively participate in classes in interaction with the teacher or her peers.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Motivar para praticar: fatores de motivação intrínseca e extrínseca dos alunos nas aulas de educação física(2019) Santos, Yasmin Da RosaThe practice of sports or physical exercise depends on many factors, such as physical, motor, and cognitive, but since ancient times or human being is influenced by psychological aspects such as motivation, is an essential factor when we think of school physical education. The aim of the present study was to know the intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factors in the practice of physical activity analyzed or in the universe of School Physical Education and compare among them more qualified and become more motivating for the students. More specifically, this descriptive study, focusing on a prevalence study, with a quantitative approach of data collected and cross-sectional sought to quantify the motivational factors that lead students to practice in Physical Education in the school curriculum. A sample consisted of 22 students from 14 to 18 years old, from the 9th grade of elementary school to the 3rd year of high school at E.E.M Almirante Lamego School of Laguna / SC. Data were collected through the KOBAL questionnaire (1996). For results processing and data analysis, the software SPSS version 22.0 was used, being used for descriptive statistics with media and standard deviation and test. The main intrinsic results found were: that students use physical activities (91%) and understand the benefits of active activities in class (81,8). When assessing extrinsic factors, the highest percentage was “a material to be part of the school curriculum” (81.9%). When analyzing the results of the comparison between intrinsic and extrinsic, an intrinsic motivation shows the best average, with 3,6761. Obtaining a value of 0.32286 more in relation to extrinsic, thus being considered the most motivating for students actively participating in physical education classes.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Excesso de peso em adolescentes de uma escola da rede pública de Tubarão - SC(2019) Santos, Guilherme Oliveira dosOverweight and obesity are defined as abnormal or excessive fat accumulation that pose a health risk. Having as main objective to evaluate the nutritional status of overweight and obesity in adolescents from a public school in Tubarão-SC based on the students' body mass index. The sample consisted of 161 students, 94 female and 67 male, aged 12 to 18 years. The main research instrument was the BMI which evaluates the student's body mass index. Nutritional status will be analyzed by BMI / age Z-score (WHO curves) according to gender.To measure weight a digital scale up to 150kg non-slip Britannia will be used, and to measure height a precision tape measure will be used of cm. The results show that 68% of students are of normal weight, 5% thinness, 19% overweight and 8% obesity. At this stage of adolescent life, being overweight can lead to socialization difficulties, as well as risk of morbidity for the main chronic diseases. The awareness of obesity for young people and adolescents is in the process of seeking personal identification and affirmation, in which the construction of self-image and self-esteem play a very important role. The same paper also proposed a questionnaire with 10 pedagogical teachers with open questions about the regularity of the specific teaching of this practice and their perceptions. Data analysis reveals the inexistence of the specific professional in the area, and that most educators do not perform regular physical education work with the children, confirming the lack of a pedagogical accompaniment of the same. It is believed that the pedagogical practice of physical education plays an important role, offering experiences that are beneficial to the integral development of the child. Children, teenagers and adults are practicing less physical activity because of the bad habits of our society today, and motivating early children about the benefits of exercise enables them to have an active and healthy lifestyle in the future. A possible solution, in addition to school physical education, are extracurricular activities, more specifically sports schools. The aim of the study was to analyze the level of health-related physical aptitude of 28 boys, aged 10 to 11 years, practicing and non-practicing of futsal training. The study was of descriptive level, quantitative approach, cross-sectional, and through the PROESP-Br test protocol presented values with significant positive difference for the group of practitioners in the tests of General Resistance / Six minutes (running), Flexibility / Sitting and Reach (without Wells bench), Strength and resistance abdominal test: (Sit-ups). Unlike the measurement of body mass index (BMI) that did not show significant difference. Within the testing protocol, group members were also classified within the health risk zone and the healthy zone. The objective of this research was to verify if the Physical Education professional graduated in degree, performed some training in first aid after graduation, and also to know if he is able to perform first aid. For the sample, 5 physical education teacher of both sexes, working in the state network of Tubarão - SC, were interviewed. This data collection was done through questionnaires with 15 questions interspersed in open and closed. The survey seeks to make participants aware of the importance that the search for updates can provide, as well as the benefits. This analysis was quantitative and qualitative with data collection, thus seeking results and percentages of the qualification of the knowledge of physical education teacher. It is concluded that physical education professionals are neither prepared nor able to deal with situations that require first aid, and that the majority did not seek any kind of updating after graduation.Artigo Científico Acesso aberto Conteúdos trabalhados nas aulas de educação física com alunos da APAE de cinco municípios da região sul do estado de Santa Catarina(2020) Ferreira, Roberto NatanaelResumo: A educação especial na política educacional brasileira, por muito tempo, foi atribuída como assistência aos deficientes e não como educação de alunos. Atualmente o conhecimento sobre inclusão na educação é relativamente novo, porém regido pelas instituições. A Associação de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais – APAE, movimento pioneiro no Brasil, criado para prestar assistência médico-terapêutica às pessoas com deficiência intelectual é uma instituição que não possui diretrizes norteadoras específicas para aplicar com seus alunos nas aulas de educação física. Percebendo esses fatores, este trabalho tem por objetivo geral, verificar o conteúdo aplicado nas aulas de educação física nas fundações APAE nas cidades de Orleans, Braço do Norte, Gravatal, Tubarão e Criciúma, através de uma pesquisa qualitativa do conteúdo imposto aos alunos dessas intuições. E como objetivos específicos: identificar o perfil dos profissionais de educação física que trabalham nesses locais; relatar as dificuldades enfrentadas para ministrar as aulas e avaliar o nível de conhecimento desses profissionais sobre a Educação Física Adaptada - EFA. A coleta dos dados foi realizada através da aplicação de um questionário aos Profissionais de Educação Física destas instituições, contendo treze perguntas, objetivas e discursivas, a respeito do perfil do profissional e desenvolvimento das aulas. Concluiu-se que os entrevistados nesse estudo, seguem sua própria metodologia, baseando-se nas experiências adquiridas e necessidades, e não possuem uma diretriz unificada a ser seguida, utilizando-se de pesquisas científicas e de situações vivenciadas nas suas próprias aulas
